What I do on them type of rods is after you line up all the guilds perfectly then i take like a sharpie and put a line where each piece meets so what that does is you don’t have to take the time to line it up each time or if it turns while fishing you just line the marks up and you are good to go, hope that little so called hack helps out lol

You don’t have to work the lure very much with that rod! It’s seems better than the Dollar store rod
