Going across the Mackinac Straits in a gas-powered rowboat from Wawatam Beach, Mackinaw City, Michigan to Mackinac Island on September 30, 2023. I think I would like to be in something a little larger. This winter do a video of crossing the ice bridge via fat bike.

The water is usually a lot rougher especially in the channel. A bigger boat would be nice but this boat we can drag up on the beach. Anything bigger would have to stay in the marina. The ice bridge hasn’t been frozen enough for a few years. My daughter crossed it 6 or 7 years ago on my snowmobile. Maybe this year it will be safe?
