Nice looking rig for sure! Trx6 is one of my favorite snow rigs! Love seeing your helper

Thanks man, this has been my “go to” rig for the snow for the last few years. I haven’t been running it as much this year though, I think it’s time for a whole new body at least. Gotta change things up once in a while to keep things interesting! Rex definitely likes talking a big game… until ya jiggle a servo, then he’s out! lol.

Thanks man. It’s been like this for the last couple years, so I think it’s time for a complete makeover here soon. I’ve already got a new cab, so it’ll end up being some sort of dually flatbed setup and a gooseneck hitch. I also need to build a gooseneck trailer as well. So that’ll be a pretty decent project here sometime in the near future. These were the first “dually fenders” I ever made, definitely not the best, so I’m ready for a redo!

@ nice man, that would be really sweet! I think those fenders look good. I’m still working on mine but not doing out of metal lol You gonna do a metal gooseneck trailer? I was watching Waffles RC builds. Got a lot of respect for those that can build from scratch like that.

@NEO-RC yea, it’ll end up being an aluminum trailer though, try to keep the weight down. Definitely not on the same level as Waffles, that dude is way above my league over here! I’d like to have a gooseneck trailer that can haul two rigs. I’ve got two trucks capable of pulling a gooseneck at the moment, and one of them is pretty lightweight, so I definitely can’t have a crazy heavy trailer. Depending on how “scale” or how “pretty” ya want it…. It’s really not hard to make a trailer.

@ still making a trailer isn’t that easy. I know it’s only some square tubing, cross braces, some kind of decking, but then ramps, axles, suspension and the goose neck. I’ve only tried tig wielding once and didn’t turn out well lol Be really cool to see what you do 🤙

@NEO-RC I don’t do any welding. The last trailer I built I just used rivets, nuts, and bolts to hold everything together. It’s hauled way more weight than it ever should’ve, but still held up great. I just used an old set of ar44 axles for that one, but the new one will have a set of actual trailer axles and leafs.

6x6 looks awesome in the snow.

Thanks. It’s the OG snow blaster around here. It’s overdue for a complete makeover, so I figured it deserved one last snow run with this setup.

How to make outside dually rim connect to inside rim
@DRZ-RC14 күн бұрын
There are adapters that you can use, depending on what style wheel you’re running. All of my dually trucks are running the same adapters. If you can on Facebook and look up the “Dual Wheel Adapters” group page, you’ll find the owner, Jim Minino, just send him a message and he will make adapters for any style wheel ya want. I think they are like $27 for a set of adapters. Very cheap for the quality of the product he makes, highly recommend!
