The funny part about public domain is that it specifically means that it's royalty-free as long as you are doing an original performance of the piece. So it's perfect that they did it in noteblocks! You technically can't take someone else's performance of a public domain piece...you would need to give that person royalties for their performance. wheeeee I'm a nerd.
@McCetera Жыл бұрын
When they performed the song originally, the cannons had to be quite a distance away, otherwise they would have been too loud, and so they also had to fire them early to compensate for the delay. Just like you!
@inoutoftherain9771 Жыл бұрын
they also had to account of the length of the fuse, exactly like with the creepers!
@isaacsarver5730 Жыл бұрын
@@inoutoftherain9771 The length of the fuse is only important if you use a fuse. By the time American Civil War (1860's), they had friction primers, which have zero delay. The 1812 Overture was written in 1880 and first performed in 1882. Friction primers were available at the time.

Experimentation is definitely his forte, and he conducts his explosive exploits Fauré away from his bass of operations. After Zed gets a Handel on precise Creeper cannons, he cues in Etho. The maestro of noteblock composition arranges his blocks without Haydn them underground, and Zed wrangles each Creeper into its own Cage. Opening night approaches, and the dynamic duo, after discussing the Liszt of things that could go awry, press their buttons in perfect harmony. Will the performance go up in smoke? Will they lose their composer? Will it crescendo into a charged finale? Find out in this episode!!!
