@@CoCoBwairewhy u scared... See there's many ways about doing it but I think I have it down... My favorite ones are old folks like Jared said cause they will price their stuff lower cause they just wanna get rid of their stuff that has been in the garage for many years and just wanna see it clean cause it's been collecting dust and have no use for them ... My budget was $20 for garage sales and I wanna come back w a bunch of stuff... Sure I'm talking about 10yrs ago when I use to g2 garages and get sum pretty gud stuff so probably $30 now 😂 ... U just gotta be confident, be friendly cause that always helps, show interest in the product but remind them that ur in a budget and only have that amount most folks understand hard times and it's not a lie cause times are hard rn w inflation and everything being so freaking expensive... Old folks love kids so if u have them bring them cause there's nothing sadder to old folks than a parent saying we can't afford it 😢 I remember my mom saying this exact thing to me when we were at a garage sale and I was a kid like 12yrs old and it was a Pokemon game priced at $15 and my mom only had $9 left and she said ... Awww u know what I'll take $9 and she saw how happy I was ... I said thank u so much and got home and started playing it, those games were around $30 when they came out and it looked in excellent condition so Cha ching such an amazing deal and shout out to that old lady forgot her name but it was a special memory I'll always remember her kindness and kind heart

We have Terry’s Chocolate orange here in the states. My dad gets one of them for us every year with money tucked inside. I will forever get one every year for the holidays until they’re discontinued. So much nostalgia I have for them ❤

I just wrote the same thing. My stepmom has given us one every Christmas for years. Even as adults. I think they might only be out at Christmastime. At least that’s when I always see them displayed.

You're right about some people getting rid of furniture cheap because they don't want to move it... but people don't just give good furniture away, especially if it has good quality high end wood or is antique. Plis now with marketplace and other online options where you can post it for sale, people will come pick it up and move it for you all because they want it

We have the chocolate oranges here too lol at least on the east coast. I'm from Philly and I get those every year around Christmas time. They used to have strawberry ones too, which my husband preferred, but I always liked the orange ones the best. They also come in dark chocolate. Usually you have to smash it before you open it lol

I have seen people on tiktok buy furniture at a garage sale and they refurbish them and sell them for hundreds more than what they got it for. I once saw a $50 nightstand/dresser thing sell for $600 after being refurbished!

I dunno why but i giggled so much at the pronunciation of pastilles 😂😭 Pronounced like pastel Also crunchie is honeycomb centred The fish n chips are just salt & vinegar crisps(the sport was a branding thing) Kinder bueno or squashies are my fave from that selection Kinda wish they sent a better selection tbh.
