I've been to the Myrtle Plantation twice and the story of Chloe was made up by people who owned the home in the 1970s. They have told this in both tours of the grounds and researching the history of the plantation shows only one record of a Chloe whom was a French governess that lost an ear to frostbite when she worked in Canada. Also Winter was shot when he went outside after he heard a man ride up on horseback and call his name, he fell dead outside his home so his bloody trip thru the house and up the stairs is also false. As reported in the Point Coupee Newspaper. Not stated in the video but I'm sure the various murders the video is referring to is the "poisoned cake". Never happened, Sarah died of yellow fever as did a son and daughter. If you want an exciting ghost adventure in Lousiana, I suggest the Destrehan Plantation or the LaLaurie Mansion also many of the cemeteries are very interesting and have lots of spooky tales.

My chair continues to move from my desk too the middle of my room almost every night. My wall sized Harry Potter poster keeps falling down. I always get the feeling that I’m being watched ( especially on the stairs ). I’ve seen a hand wave from behind my door. I get random cuts and bruises. I’ve never had trouble sleeping until my family moved into this house. I really think my ghosts follow me to school.

I did experience something unusual in my aunt's house in the countryside. I was in the living room with a few other people when the TV remote was suddenly thrown half way across the room. We were shocked and wondered how did it get there since no one was near it at the time. My aunt said that strange things like this happen from time to time even though the house is relatively new with no tragic history behind it. She also saw a ball of light moving through the house at night and heard footsteps coming down the stairs even though she couldn't see anyone. One night, before sunrise, my grandma heard three bumps on the window and went outside to check, but she didn't see anything that could've made those sounds, but there was some dirt and scratches on the window. I always found it a bit scary to stay in that house, especially at night when i can hear the tree branches scratching against the roof and the wood from which the house is build make some sounds which are hopefully only due to the wind 😣

Honestly, I’ve had my fair share of paranormal activity. It’s not really bad, but I’ve heard knocking on my door at night before when no one was there, heard voices, seen shadow people in the corner of my eyes, seen things move on their own and lights flicker or die for no reason.

This video reminds me of a situation I happened to see as a preschooler - I was waiting for my mom and dad outside of the school (in which they were working). I was watching the 8th and 9th graders play football at the schools playgroung, when one of them kicked the groung instead of the ball and we all saw something white, so we dug it out. It turned out that it was a human skull. We all went sillent, until one of the 9th graders started playing Hamlet ("To be, or not to be"). They all started laughing and just left the skull on the groung to go get one of the teachers to inform them about what happened. I then got to know that it was pretty common there, since the school was build on hospitall's graveyard from WW1 and WW2. Now there's a stone playground, so no more skeletons were discovered. But the fact that there were burried people will always stay in our memory. Sorry for any grammar mistakes - english isn't my native language.
@oldenweery75104 жыл бұрын
That's not a problem. What IS a problem is when the narrators of KZbin channels mispronounce common words and famous names _and_ use poor grammar. I wonder: we you young enough at the time to not recognise the object as a skull? I mean, did it have any lasting effect on you? I hope not. Stay safe during this emergency.
@pomovesv1.0654 жыл бұрын
@@oldenweery7510 I did know it was a skull, but at that time I thought it was fake and they hid it there to play Hamlet. I think it didn't have a lasting effect, but the memory's still there. And I agree with you - it's a shame and disgrace when a youtuber mispronounces common names, but I also understand. There are a lot of languages that are hard to speak if you are not fluent. Take care and stay safe, fellow youtube viewer!

You really should check your facts before you post. Chloe was a slave that accidently killed the wife and children of the plantation owner. Chloe was then killed by hanging.

@brandonstrickland82345 жыл бұрын
Tammy Thomas NO. That was the version told to make the Chloe sound harmless. Truth was, Chloe had been having an affair with the owner of the plantation and thought she would better her life if the Mrs's and her children were out of the picture. She didn't "accidentally" sprinkle poison on their powder cookies for no reason.

Bullshit.com "accidentally"poisoning someone by a cook was very uncommon. Why can't "slaves have affairs with owners?" If she had a vagina, and he had a dick, well I don't see how an affair would be impossible. It's not that I "believe lies I'm told," it's called doing research! Btw, you have the perfect profile name...stick to it!

You'd be surprised by the group called "theRichest" that does fake haunted house posts. In one of them, they said that the WINCHESTER HOUSE was built by a woman named Mary. It was Sarah! My family were the live-in caretakers and mgrs of it for 36 yrs. The only family that can make this claim, in the entire world! Quite a Coo. I think that some people have all these stills and rob you tube blind by making fake posts, and then you tube shells out the dough. They should make contracts stating that, ' to their knowledge, all things are true. In the case, any are found to be fallacious, all monies must be returned with interest and attorney fees paid by the fraud producer. That may help stop these false post makers stating that they understand and agree to the rules of agreement. So many people use these to support some false concepts. Lies supporting lies. Gee, that sounds like someone we all know!

i used to work with a paranormal group, run by my brother. we would invite members of the public to join us on paranormal investigations of haunted houses & hotels, for a modest fee. one of the most popular & most frequently visited locations , was a mansion in the welsh borderlands. we were filming down in the cellar, on one occasion &, when we watched the video footage, the next day, we were astonished to see what looked like a man,dressed as a preist, in black, with a white eclesiastical collar, walking through a doorway. no one had seen such a person, anywhere in the house at the time of the filming &, apart from our group & our paying guests, none of who looked remotely like the figure in the video, the only other person in the house at that time, was the female owner, who lived there alone.
