We took my Autistic son when he was little to Sutter's Fort in Sacramento. He started talking to a very large, old tree, and told us that the tree was telling him stories about people who died at the Fort. He said there was a spirit of a boy in the tree who was burned alive. When we tried to leave, he cried and said he didn't want to leave the boy in the tree.

I had a woman who came in my room every night as a kid, and would sit by the window in the corner. My parents never believed me. Then one day my cousin asked what she looked like, and after I described her, my Dad said that's the woman who owned this place before us! She was found dead in my room, sitting in the corner! And yes, she's still there.

@@anonspectre1796 No she didn't. She would sit there bathed in bright golden light (from her body)and she would keep pushing something on her lap towards the window, over, and over again. When Dad finally told us about her. He said she was a retired seamstress, and to make food, and tax money, she took in the neighbor's clothes, and sheets, to wash, mend, or move buttons. In fact my room was full of clothes that she was going to work on the week she died. In the corner, in front of the window is where she kept her sewing machine, that she still works on every night. That's why it looked like she was pushing something towards the window, a million times. We never talked, but I knew she was the sweetest old lady, who meant me no harm.

I woke up at about 2 o'clock in the morning once and my 4-year-old was standing right next to me. His face was dark because only the moon was out and he said "Do you know how it's going to end?" I legit pulled him into bed then lay there for another hour terrified.

Wow! These scenarios are practically lifted straight out of some horror movie! 😳 To define them as merely "creepy" seems almost tame! 😳

Children's brains conflate what is real, what they heard or saw, and what they imagined to create thoughts that don't make sense and are sometimes creepy.

Yep they don’t have a concrete version of themselves. I witnessed this firsthand at the daycare where I work. One little girl would get herself mixed up with the other girls 🤷🏻♀️ not her name or anything, but sometimes she didn’t know if something happened to her or someone else.

The one about the Barbies looking back shouldn't be relatable. Since I was about 9, I'd had a pair of those big stuffed lions that are positioned laying down and are roughly 4 feet from head to tail. I'd played with them and never had a problem. When I was 16-17, I was alone in my room. I wasn't super tired or anything. I was facing the lions but was writing something. I saw one of them move its head (not a little bit; like 1-2 inches) like it was trying to see what I was doing, since they weren't directly facing me. I'd seen slight head movements before, but small enough that I could convince myself that it was an illusion from me slightly moving my head. This wasn't that. I loudly said, "Nope! No, no, not doing this, nope!" while grabbing it and running to throw it down the stairs and immediately locking the door to my room. 😂 The next day, I cautiously put the lion in the bed of my truck, and drove it to Goodwill. 😅 On an unrelated note, a furby and a small clown marionette both vanished without a trace. I've asked the adults in the house, begging them to just tell me if they got rid of them. They insist that they never touched them and thought they were in my closet. I've moved out since, and can confidently say that they were not in my closet or anywhere else I could think to look.

When my nephew was 3 or 4 his eyes started to water and his mom asked what was wrong. "Mommy do I have a big brother or sister." Months before he was born his mom had a miscarriage which he was never told about due to how bad the whole pregnancy was. His mom said, "Yes, but he went to Heaven," his eyes started to water and she finished, "I heard from another person when someone loses a baby then has another the older one becomes their guardian angel." They both cried but started to feel better. He's now a veteran and in a few months will finish college becoming a police officer

When my granddaughter was 3, we were looking at a photo album that my mother found deep in her closet. As we are going thru the pictures, we come up on a photo of two little boys and their parents. My granddaughter gets excited, points out one of the boys and says” wow, I know that boy… I WAS him. I got hit by a truck and I died”. I looked at my mom, who had a look of awe on her face. My mom said “that’s my cousin and his family. That boy was run over and killed by a school bus when he was 8.” My granddaughter doesn’t remember the incident, but I’ll never forget it!

When I was 5 years old, one morning my mother was driving my older brother to school when I stated that a truck very far down the road was going to run the stop sign and hit us. My mother ignored me so I kept repeating over and over that we were about to get into a wreck. Finally my mother in exasperation raised her voice and said "THE TRUCK IS NOT GOING TO HIT US" then a few seconds later the truck ran the stop sign and hit us. We found out later that the truck's brakes had failed and was the reason he was unable to stop.

I said “because I don’t want any one tree falling on both cars. My kid looks at both cars, pauses, and points to the Chevy; says “move that one” You guessed it. Tree fell smack dab on the Chevy!
