So sad to see what remains of someone’s lives.. it doesn’t feel creepy, just lonely for it’s past tenants

Wonderful part of a house. So sad that no one cares to get the old photos. I have one side of my family photos. I wish I had more. I have shared with other relatives who were interested. I like to know where I came from, past relatives. I know now that I come from a hard working, simple folks of a county next to the smoky mountains, East Tennessee. They were early settlers from various countries.

Always love your videos. It blows my mind that they demolished part of the house and so much was left in tact. So sad that so many beautiful pieces of furniture are once again left to rot. Thanks again for a great though somewhat sad video.

Absolutely loved this explore!!! It broke my heart to see all of the exquisite wooden furniture that is not being saved & restored 😢😰😞 Sad that family members can’t save the pictures & air looms of this wonderful family 😢😞😰 It is nice of the neighbor to keep track of the home & keep it vandals free👍🙏❤️ Thank you Sam & Jess for sharing this wonderful adventure with us 👍 I loved it ❤️💕♥️

What a gorgeous home, with remarkable decorative details and beautifully selected furnishings. How tragic that the government forced them to leave to build a road. I wonder if so much was left behind because they refused to leave on time and were forcibly removed? I hope not.

So glad Jeff came along to explain, as I was so sure I was hearing voices off in the distant and wondered if I was hearing things? The highway was noisy too so thought echos maybe be happening. But in the end. It had to be bits and pieces of Jeff speaking to the other man worried about your. Wellbeing " in the house. Lol lovely family home, at one time. Just sad what happens as they are just left behind. I think often they maybe did not legally leave them to anyone and so no one I'd allowed to get inside after the last person passes, even if they.are famljy members.

What a great house, I loved the huge kitchen and I am a sucker for photo’s especially the older ones, the one of the little boy and girl from the 1920s wow! The wallpaper upstairs was generally very strange, from maybe 60s or 70s, didn’t quite fit with the rest of the house. Great neighbour for once being kind! Gotta say though, missing Karl popping into the odd shot here and there 😟 Thank you guys and much live to you both 🥰🥰

Seems they just left everything behind.Odd the way part of the house was demolished and this left .You would imagine it would disturb the whole structure and it would totally have collapsed by now .It does seem to be subsiding. Who knows but it is non the less rather splendid even in its sad abandoned decay .Wonder what happened to the people and where they are now just leaving all their memories depicted in their photographs. So sad .

Someone should load everything inside (pictures, papers etc.) and put it in a warehouse for cleanup and auction. Then they can demolish the house before some kids sneak in and it collapse on them. Cool place though.
