When I was a kid my parents moved us into a haunted home (they were unaware). It was a horror for ten years and we couldn’t leave or move at the time. Took awhile to deal with the trauma. Parents done everything to clean our house nothing worked. The people who live in there now are still being haunted as I know someone who knows them.

Netflix recently (a month ago or so) released a documentary about this particular story. It's a couple hours long and includes interviews with all the people involved, home video footage of the family and of the Warrens, etc. With that said, there are a ton of very significant discrepancies between the story told on this show vs. in the documentary. I'm not sure which story is true or if either of them are. In the documentary, Arnie gets possessed during David's exorcism. Arnie seems fine at first, but a while later ends up killing a guy as a result of the possession. His defense in court is essentially that the devil made him do it. That's a pretty important part of the story yet they don't mention it on this show at all.

How do you prove something like that in a court of law? Sure, we all know the story at this point, but the only people that really know what exactly happened not only in the house, but throughout the case, are those who were involved.

I participated in two exorcisms. First, acording to church rules they must make sure that the person doesn't have some desiese. So they must be examined fisicaly and go to psichologist or psichiatrist. And when that is cleared out the priest asks permition from a bishop. Every archbishop can ordain one or more exorcists in their bishopcy(Idk how you call it in english) Then the exorcisms is done. The priest who did it when I was one of people who prayed, there was 5 of us, he made sure to tell the archbishop how urgent it was. It is terifying. And not many people will accept to come and pray. They are afraid. And you must get prepared. Go to comfession, tell all your sins. You mustn't hide not one of them. Because evil wil tell your sins and use your weaknes against you. It is very scary cause you know that you are in the presence of pure evil. But you must have faith. The reason that church doesn't rush with it is to protect itself in case of the death of the posessed. Sadly.

Our house we rent is haunted. We found out someone hung themselves in the garage. You could feel the tension in the air. All my life I thought spirits and demons were a load of bs, I ended up becoming a born again Christian because of the whole experience. Since we have the house blessed, the activity has dramatically died down, but it's still here and occasionally things still happen. I don't believe it is demonic, It behaves more like a child pulling pranks and being mischievous. We have learned to live with it. We get the house blessed pretty regulatory, but we can't get rid of it completely, maybe because I'm not Catholic, who knows. People need to understand there is a spiritual world we can't see, but it's real. Praise Jesus.

Obviously these programmes are exaggerated for ratings, even if a haunting is taking place... As for Ed and Lorraine Warren...Well they were very much into making things seem more than they were and theres enough evidence out there to show this to be case. They were not above discussing book sales etc when investigating these cases as was the case with the Enfield Poltergiest in tbe UK in the 1970s. They were barely tbere for a day in reality and spent most of that day tryig to get the book rights and any possible film rights that may be offered, they discussed this with the reporters etc. They both had tbe gift of tbe gab and tbey most certainly were NOT the religious happily married cuple tbey wanted everyone to believe. Lorraine demanded that theproducers of the Conjuring franchise did NOT show ANYTHING in the films of Eds affair with a family friend or that they had massive arguements all the time. She made sure that they were portrayed like gods holy angels. Personnally i researched much on them and it was never just a normal ghost, always a Demon no matter what. Everytime they could get the chance book rights they did and any film rights. They did in my mind only want fame and glorification im afraid. They helped exaggerate the Aityville case and even the mother of the sick teenager lad who had cancer living with his family in a house only haunted by discruntled souls said afterwards in an interview she broke ties with tbem because she beloeved tbey were only acting in self intetest.
