One night while my cousin is in the bathroom washing her clothes and i'm in my room she rushed into my room and told me to open my door, i was so confused so i asked her why, she said while she was washing her clothes some weird feelings flashed into her brain that "if you felt that someone is looking at you, someone is actually looking at you" then she immediately got outside and while she was heading outside she hears running like at the back of our house then she locked the doors and locked the windows at this day we still didn't know what creature is it ,.. So this happened to me about 2 years ago ( ima try n make it short) So after school , i was really very tired when i went home ( me n my cousin's live in the same house) , so i took a nap then i woke up after an hour i guess , i was actually sleeping in my grandma's room , her room is pretty big , there's this big mirror right before the bed but pretty far ( cuz the room is big) when i woke up i saw my cousin wearing a green t shirt just staring at me , i thought he was just playin so i laughed n told him to stop , i kept telling him to stop but he just kept staring after some time it got creepy so i switched on the light n found no one there , i went out the room ASAP n saw him n my other cousin watching tv , i asked him if he was there but he wasn't there , they even looked at me in a weird way , also he was wearing a red t shirt . Oooooh I have a creepy story too! One Night I was washing the dishes and I was alone cuz my Brothers escaped from helping me 🤦‍♀️. After a while I heard a sound outside the Kitchen door I tried not to look so I dont become like those Horror movies. But in the corner of my Eye I saw something crawling. Just to highlight this, I was alone. My dogs were Outside 💩. So it couldnt have been them. I keep seeing “it” from the corner of my eye and Everytime i see her it seems as If She was standing up. The scariest thing that happened to me is when I was young I would always get nightmares about this demon looking thing. I would always wake up but I wouldn't open my eyes because I was scared if I did then I would open them to that same demon. I would tell my parents but they would just say that it was probably just because of the horror movies I watch. I assumed they were right until one night I had the same nightmare but it felt real I convinced myself I was dreaming. The next day I told my parents again but this time they stood there frozen. The last one made me remember this one time, I was sitting on my bed reading a book and I looked over at my phone, saw the time and went back to the book where I left my finger on the line where I left off. Then I got this random weird feeling and saw a notification pop up on my phone so I looked over, and it was 30 minutes later. Once I got in an Uber and the lady that was driving wasn't going to my destination. The GPS would say left, she'd go right. I was freaking out and wondering if I should just jump out of the car. Luckily there were other people with me who corrected her after a few minutes in the car. They constantly critiqued her until she listened to them, clearly annoyed. I'm not sure where she'd have taken us if they didn't. Honestly, I don't think she meant any harm, I think she was just high or something. I should have realised something was wrong when I first got in the car and she was going off about laundromats😂

So I still remember this to this day. It may be somewhat off because it was so long ago. In third grade my mom went on a trip a long way from home for a week. That week, I had a substitute in my math class for a day. And that day, my substitute was having a conversation with some of my classmates where they shared creepy stories. I only fully heard two of them because I had been reading and had gone up there to ask her a question. So the first one was a story of a grandfather who had somehow gotten his hand cut off (I don’t remember how she said it happened) and the hand had crawled around hidden under chairs and such jumping out to strangle him and his family. I had a nightmare about that one the next night and had a very immense fear of anything under a surface I couldn’t see through-like a bed of chair and stuff like that. The second story was a story of woman who had somehow lost her entire arm (Don’t remember how again) and had replaced with a golden one as she was very rich. She asked her husband to bury her with the arm for no apparent reason other than she wanted it to be. So he agreed and then when she died she was buried with the arm. And a few months later the husband thought, “She doesn’t need that golden arm. She’s dead!” And decided to take it for himself. So one night, he dug her up and opened her coffin to steal the golden arm. That same night, after he had reburied her, he had gotten back to his house when he heard an echoing voice saying, “Who’s got my golden arm?! Who’s got my golden arm?!” And terrified, he hid in his closet. While hiding there, still clutching the arm, he heard the voice again. “Who’s got my golden arm?!” And he stood there in his closet, petrified with terror. Until he died from fear. Take into consideration that these were the stories being told by my substitute teacher to third graders. Now I was scared out of my mind because of these two stories, and third grade me decided to read a book to take my mind off of it. I got so scared remembering those stories the next day that I called my mom crying and told her about them and my nightmare that I had had the previous night. So yeah. Third grade me was very easily scared I guess.

I have a horror story I made up. I woke up one night to the sound of my instrument playing, I checked to see what was making the noise and when I went into the room, the music stopped and my cello was in it's case. I asked my parents if they could have it for one night. They heard the noise too. I asked the person I bought my cello from if it's haunted. The person said "It may be haunted because the last person who had that cello died while playing it in a concert because someone who looks just like you killed them." I got chills and told my parents, they said we should get rid of it, but I never did. The next night I heard footsteps in my apartment. I lived alone. I went to my cello and saw it leaned next to a chair and the strings vibrating. No noise. The next thing I knew I saw the ghost of a little boy who had red eyes taring at me. Then I woke up, I told myself it was all a dream. The same thing that was in my dream happened the day after, yet this time, the boy was my son.

Here’s a story to make you feel better: I was driving with my family to my grandma’s house for my brother’s birthday and in front of us driving 50 mph two people on motorcycles. When we had to stop for a red light, we got a closer look at one of the people’s motorcycles and in the back of one there was a puppy behind the driver with goggles on! 💕 It was so cute! But then on the way home we were on the intersection really close to our house. We had to stop on a red light again and on the left of us we saw the same people on their motorcycles! We were all so shocked! And we got a better look, and the dog was a yorkie! 💖

A way to scare your friends: In an area, with only you and your friend, start staring into no where until he/she asks what your doing. Don't answer them. Just say "it's you...." and then run and jump close to a wall and say "he left me....". Then say "YOU GOT PRANKED LOL" and hug your friend.

I have a scary true story I was sleeping and having a dream that I was at a camping area with my friends and some people I didn’t know. We did normal things like challenges and activities but when night came we all had a challenge to make one of my friends go to sleep ( I know, a weird challenge.) when suddenly two of my friends went to the window and kept saying “there is a new car, it wasn’t there before..” and kept repeating it. I decided that my friends were just joking with me but decided to check anyway (remember it was a dream) and there outside the window of our cabin was pitch black car. There was light coming from the cabin next us and reflecting onto the car so we could it, but the weird part is when I looked at my friends their eyes were as black as the car. Then I heard a knock on the cabin door and loud scratch, like a cat or tiger scratch before immediately waking up. However when I woke up it felt like I hadn’t even slept, all my bones were tired and I could only remember the part in my dream where I heard the scratches but I KNEW that wasn’t my whole dream and that something else had happened. My dream was one of those dreams where it feels so REAL but and yet I knew it was just a dream. So that was my scary story. I was honestly really terrified and google “I woke up and felt like I hadn’t slept” but nothing made sense so I just let it be. Till this day I am still terrified and curious if maybe my dream did go on and I forgot it or maybe, time (future past and present) had something to do with it

In the 80s, before me or any of my siblings went to our middle school (obviously), something happened. This all happened in spring, the week before school got out.There was this girl, Kat. She was 10 and in 6th grade as she had skipped 5th. One day, she went up to an 8th grade girl, Marie, and their convo went like this: Kat: hey, you’re friends with my sister, right? Marie: oh, who? Kat: Bella. You’re her friend, right? Marie: oh yeah! She’s my friend. Fast forward to when Marie and Bella are walking to Marie’s house. Marie told Bella about the girl from earlier. Marie: I saw your sister earlier. Bella: I-I don’t have any siblings. Marie: don’t be silly Bella, I saw her earlier. She was really nice! Bella: um ok point her out to me at school tomorrow, ok? Marie: ok The next day at school, Marie pointed the girl out to Bella, and Bella freaked out. Bella: OH MY GOD Marie: what? Bella: that girl’s crazy, she came to my house last week! So, Bella and Marie reported Kat. But when they said her name, the principal gave them a weird look and replied, “That girl died at Christmas...”

True Scary Story Of Mine: I had sleep paralysis episodes when I was 3 or 4. Thing is, the demon in them was real. Oki so I would always see my TV turn on by itself and it was always tuned to static. Then, I would remember that the demon appeared. I think (but I can't fully remember, I was like 4) it crawled out of the TV, but it may have just appeared near it. Anyway it would walk from the side of my bed to the foot of my bed and pull my covers off. Now I would assume it was normal sleep paralysis, but other things happened. Here's a little chat I had with my mom: S=Me M=Mom S: *wakes up after dropping my older brother off at school* Where's bubby? M: At school. S: With his teacher? M: Yeah, with his teacher. S: My teacher died. (the demon) M: Oh, uhm, that's sad, did you get a new teacher? S: No, she was already dead. Yeah, three year old me said that. Anyways, once my aunt was staying over. She slept in my bed as I was at my dad's house. She got the covers pulled off of her while she was sleeping, but thought she kicked them off and went back to sleep. It happened again. She tried to go back to sleep. Then she saw the static. She went to my mom's room and asked if she could sleep in there. She did. There were many incidents with the demon. Okay fast forward to now. My mom reminds me of her and we decided to do some research. I always called the demon Alohei. Turns out it means goddess in some other language. We threw the TV away and ever since then until I was 7 I had a huge fear of static. I never knew why I was afraid, since after we threw the TV away I forgot about everything. My main worry is, well, *what is someone picked the TV up before trash day?*

A little hint for reading stories (and particularly horror/thriller stories); speak slowly and articulate a lot. It's something you'll find a lot of successful horror youtubers follow. Speaking as quickly as you do doesn't really allow any time for suspense, and in general, doesn't feel very immersive.
