Ironically, bloodflies seem much more peaceful than wasps considering they don't go into a frenzy as soon as their nests are destroyed.

Also ironically, bloodflies are based on the Spider Wasp, which don't even build hives, but they do sting spiders to death & lay eggs on them like bloodflies do.

Once of my most disgusting moments in gaming was in Zelda Twilight Princess. Theres this palace where you must jump over a gap with wolf Link, but suddenly he began shivering and was unable to jump. I thought for a while and remembered the ability to use the wolf instincts only to find Link literally covered in ghost rats crawling over his body.

Man, those things are the absolute worst, they are not only a combination of flies and mosquitoes which is already bad enough, but they have the lifecycle of wasps and are absolutely huge, true nightmare material right there jeez

They have the life cycle of a Blowfly & a Spider Wasp combined, but they live in hives like hornets, non-solitary bees & non-solitary wasps do, & look like mosquitoes. Because of their size & their ability to have more than just spiders as their host, Bloodflies are True Nightmare Fuel indeed! 🤢

For some reason, the blood fly reminds me of the real life bot fly, which lays eggs inside a mammal's skin to reproduce, including the skins of humans. What is worse is that they will not just go for corpses, but living creatures as well, which may be a bit worse than the blood fly. I honestly cannot remember where they come from, but if anyone knows, reply below.

You should talk about the Bloodbugs and Bloatflies from Fallout Git! I absolutely hate those creatures and they make my skin crawl. I’m very paranoid traveling the wastelands because you never know when a swarm of those atrocities decide to attack you.

I think you need some good flies in your life. Specifically hoverflies. They are basically a fly with bee coloring that hover like hummingbirds. They pollinate flowers, their larvae eat aphids, and they don't sting. They are about as clean and wholesome of a fly I have ever, and probably ever will witness. A close second would be the elephant mosquito. A big ass mosquito, but it eats other mosquito larvae as a larvae, and since it feeds on protein when it's young, they do not suck blood as adults.

The Fallout games are also filled with gross bug enemies, chief among them (in terms of grossness) are Bloatflies. Not only do they look gross, but they shoot a yellow goo at you from thier tail. Thankfully, they're rather weak.

Ethan Winters and Leon Kennedy have no idea they got their plague immunity from Corvo Attano himself I've hated the rats in my 1,100 hours of playing Dishonored, I've died to it once and made me avoid them altogether My best way of dispatching them: Stop time, throw a grenade then shoot it Simple yet effective in taking out swarms of rats crawling around As for Dishonored 2: Taking out bloodflies with Incendiary Bolts would be a good choice But if you want to be even more disgusting, equip Leech Cuts, Whirlwind and Blood Sacrifice The bloodflies will end up acting as a source of unlimited health for you

Bloodflies are based on those parasitic wasps. Those parasitic wasps hatch out like something out of Resident Evil! 😱 Edit: They're based specifically on the Spider Wasp, a big blue wasp that stings spiders to death & then lay eggs on them. Yuck... Oh well, at least there's species of parasitic wasp that kills aphids, which are parasites to plants & crops.

Bloodflies are a joke after you meet Fallout New Vegas' Cazador. Think a Bloodfly, but way bigger and agressive. One of them can EASILY kill a high level character. They are fast and so f...ing scary.
