Radio used is Tecsun PL-660 and Degen 31MS antenna.

A crappy radio on the wrong sideband setting an badly tuned. The bandwidth is so wide it is receiving USB on the CW or LSB setting. Would never happen on my AOR-5700D.

you cant decode a number station. the way they work is something called a one time pad which means the receiver aka spy has a code book and the transmitter usually whatever government intelligence agency has a book with the same codes in which the spy decodes it and the pad becomes useless. Usually these are gps coordinates for dead drops where they leave sensitive data or intelligence for whoever to pick up. Hope that answered your question
