The "immortality" story missed a huge opportunity by not talking about how the human brain has a limited capacity for memory, and how earlier memories would gradually become less and less detailed until they inevitably faded away into oblivion, in the mind of an immortal. I expected the author of that one to talk about this once they got to the mental part, but I was sorely disappointed.

First time watching creepypasta and I have one question...are the stories suppose to scare you or make you feel uncomfortable or am I missing the point of these, serious question?

Liquid Arum I've been watching creepypastas for about five years now and at first they did kinda scare me but pretty quickly they turned into just entertainment. Obviously the authors are trying to create a "creepy" narrative, but the intent varies with the author. You'll find that stories written by new writers tend to almost be trying too hard and try to use shock value to scare you. Meanwhile, the more experienced writers focus on characters and plot (usually for longer pastas) and how they change based on the threat present. Personally, I think the best stories are the ones that leave you thinking "wow" at the end.
