You say life is the sum total of who you spend it with. You say to get the human touch. You say to surround yourself with supportive people. How nice for you that you have all these nice people around you. Is my life a sum total of worthless because I don't have any supportive people around me? I guess I've escaped this 'epidemic of loneliness', though, because I don't miss toxic relationships one bit. The one bible-based church in my town has a congregation of two because the pastor is a crazy person. Are you now saying there's something wrong with me having this, my online church and online bible study? Not everybody has what you have. Jesus is enough for me and I depend entirely on God, and, after weeks of preaching that, today you're telling me it's wrong?

Hi Sweetie. I definitely understand and know where your at, and I don’t think you’re unique in that. Jesus Himself had to get away at times. But here’s the rub: the Great Commission is for us “the Church” and it’s all about people. Don’t think these guys we see on tv haven’t had their share of awful people interactions. Not everyone is going to watch “Christian” tv. How do we reach those people? There is still a large amount of physical interaction needed. But Keep looking for that Church, keep looking for those “divine” connections of people you can trust. Ask God for divine connections to be placed in your life. There’s no place in theBible it says to hang back and recluse despite I frankly share your sentiment. The world has been getting meaner. You have a gift we need. You have talent we need. I was widowed about a year ago and Itoo was disappointed in my church I’d been going to for 13 years! I received a phone call from Church’s reception lady offering condolences and if we were going to do a funeral at the church. He was a veteran so no. And that was about it. No one calls to ever see how I am doing or check in on me. But you know what? They preach a lot of meat at this church and that’s good. Maybe I will start a widows group-lol Hang in there.
