Thanks for the tutorial. What if I want a range slider that has a knob that can stop at any point of the range? Would you just make more "stops" or is there some other way to do it?

I've exactly the same problem. Did you find any solution meanwhile?

@@Febbraio93 Hey, no. I just used a step slider, in the end it was enough to demonstrate the concept. But if you want something for usability testing I guess coding it will be the way.

I don't know why we can't just say it's safe to assume frames are the most legitimate option in 80% of instances. It used to drive me nuts in InDesign when I'd open a file and there was a text box sitting on top of a colored rectangle, when literally all of it could be controlled by object styles. InDesign is the OG, my ride or die for layouts. So I find it funny when Figma users don't go that far back in the game to know it's all the same ol tricks.

Thanks for the helpful information! I am having trouble making a round horseshoe shaped slider. I followed what you did but the colored part fades in and does not slide in. Please help!

I follow correctly the steps on 4:17 min but when I test it, the circle doesn't move so gental like yours. It act like I choose On click not On drag.

Nice info, however I try use it for slider with three or more steps and not fix it... a rule 30% 60% 70% 100% for example :(
