Beautiful! Great job on this. 9:38 What were you thinking, D phrygian dominant or E flat diminished arpeggio on top of D? That chord at 9:41, E, A, B flat left and D F# and B flat right. It's a different voicing for E minor 7 flat 5 right?, E minor 9 flat 5 + 4, or kind of like C 13 # 11?? WhatI'm always looking for ways to use things like that! Agreed, definitely one of Coltrane's best recordings! I know he was very interested in cosmology and music and tapping into the universe, but I swear when I listen to his recording I feel just that, fantastic stuff.
