Funny thing, I actually use this assassination, and I got a triple kill, by throwing them at the other players haha 😂 sucks how there is none in infinite, because all I remember was laughing so hard. Was one of the funniest rare moments I've had while playing a halo game. This kinda stuff is just absent from halo infinite. I do like the replulsor but mehh . Ground pound and assassination is where its at, they should have kept all this and just added equipment..

The animations were always so good. I love the ones that are most clearly based on real martial arts techniques. I think I've done something like Eyebiter in my karate classes. Wish classic fans could respect 343's work more. I wonder if they'll even include the thrusters in the animations now that thrust has been removed as a player ability...

The boss fights are stupid and before you say it I know Halo 2 had bossfights (and they were good) They tried to act like Halo 5 campaign didn't happen for good reason

Ive already said this before so I'll keep it brief, I love how the music makes it seem like the purple/magenta Spartan is like an oni assassin, however, since the war is over, the Spartans are no longer needed. Because of this, he's been sent out to execute them all and kill himself after. If he doesn't comply, he'll be killed first and another oni assassin will take over the job. The sad music is bc he doesn't want to bc he knows it's messed up but he's got no other option. I've always liked the assassination mechanics, also because I managed to make some hilarious moments with it. I would like the assassination mechanics be more developed for halo infinite, where you can turn assassination attempt against the assassin with a second chance mechanic that allows you to survive by a quick time action to preform a reversal assassination. But be on topic of the video, it's awesome, but my favorite part are the assassinations that launch the body off the edge to look more cinematic.

@@Hll_bast or because they want it to be in a polished state, considering there is no need to model for a assassination since we already have multiplayer models, as well as the need of animating mostly gone, considering that halo infinite is seen reusing animations for some grunts in the previous games. Agree with the elites though they already have hit boxes down for sure due to needing to do that in the campaign, but they could also reuse animations for the elites as well, the main thing that would be needed for elites are customization options which would need to be as impressive as the array of customizations for Spartans to please the fans
