This place is HAUNTED. AND it's one of the scariest locations we've EVER filmed at. We visited the Cresson Sanatorium & Prison with Steve and Dylan from Haunted Nights and it is huge, it's abandoned and it's filled with extremely evil spirits. Join us as we dive deep into the darkness and face one of our darkest hauntings yet... You're watching, THE PARANORMAL FILES.

How does she feel about working in a place with constant paranormal activity? She has a very very interesting job. And yes, she was a very good tour guide.

I will have to research it. I have never heard of it. I don't know if it's an asylum or prison male or female or both. I was booted & missed part of the live. I will try to go back & watch it in full. I hope Colin never feels compelled to do another investigation on his own. I watched the "ZooMan" episode and could feel his discomfort & the possible danger he faced. I hope more people will encourage him to forget about doing scary things alone 😆🤣. Real-life scenarios & monsters are far more terrifying than spirits. Spirits are spooky. Stay spooky, not terrifying ✨️😆

I think it’s great because knowing the history of any location really backs up a lot of the behaviors you catch by make total sense. When you know your location really well, what would otherwise be considered a coincidence can actually be defined as evidence. I have a perfect personal example but there is no short way of explaining it and I don’t want to bore you lol! Happy TG 🦃🍾🥂👻

I work as a nurse at SCI Smithfield in Pa, and I work with a lot of nurses who transferred from SCI Cresson to SCI Smithfield in 2013 when it closed. The stories they tell about the Ghosts they use to see weekly, especially in what used to be the kitchen during its prison days. Apparently, after Kalinger died, a black shadow started to show up frequently. They'd see it on camera and with their own eyes. My one friend who was a nurse at Cresson prison when Kalinger died told me he use to eat his wool blanket and the guards just let him do it after awhile because they couldn't stop him and they couldn't deny him a blanket. SCI Smithfield and SCI Huntingdon is about 40 mins from Cresson prison. We experience a lot of ghosts at our prison as well. I'd imagine mostly every prison has a haunting. We see death unexpectedly on a weekly basis. The emotions and tragedies that go into these deaths have to leave a stain. I know after we had an inmate hang himself, we witnessed him float from POC observation cells 1 2 and 3 on the camera about a week after his death. He was a young kid, and we were able to get a pulse on him long enough to get him life lighted to the hospital put on a vent so his family could see him and say their goodbyes. A week after he passed, we saw him from the shoulders up float through the walls from cell 1 2 and 3, then disappeared. The inmates occupying the cells at the time didn't see a thing. But we all saw him on camera from our infirmary. Great video!

Would you ask your friend if she remembers an inmate named Frederick Moten. If she worked there any fairly long period of time then I'm sure she knew me. I've been trying to locate a nurse that worked there in the late 80s-well into the 90s. Her name is Barb S.

My favorite thing about this channel is that, he gives the stories about the area he is at and he is caring and nice, and make sure he is respect and is careful about what he says to the after life and he tries his hardest to make the video very interesting and fun and he gives the backstory on the certain areas he goes to of where he is at. He shows pictures of the areas he’s at and then he keeps kid friendly and he doesn’t go after the views and likes, he goes after the fun and the paranormal and his wife is so beautiful and kind of friendly and the other paranormal people are welcomed to his videos. You’re very supportive and you’re very passionate about what you want to do which is paranormal things. You put so much detail in the videos. You have great quality and you try your hardest to find answers in the after life. You make it so mysterious at first and then surprise us with the information and give us many details about what happened and make us very interested about your channel. You’re very funny and smart and very confident and you never talk bad about yourself and you never give up on trying to find answers to the paranormal. Your channel is raw and not fabricated with jump scares or click bait. You have a genuine passion for what you do and it shows very much. Each episode you provide interviews and history of the location you are investigating, you have a nice wholesome family value about yourself that is quite honestly lost in the younger generations of todays world, you’re polite, kind, and respect to the after life and your guests or fellow content creator and to each and every one of your followers. Colin is a very brave man and an honest man. Colin has his own podcast and talks about all the paranormal stuff and gives a lot of details in the podcast and then videos he makes. We all love you and support you Colin. This video needs a double thumbs up because he deserves it. Keep the good work up Colin! Stay Spooky👻

What I like is that the more all these teams investigate together, the more they adopt the same investigative tools. Exploring with Josh/Beyond, the Dark has gotten more people using the voice recorder system. Twin Paranormal has many more teams using the Spirit app. Steve and Dylan introduced the music box and flashlight method to Sam and Colby, and The Paranormal Files has gotten teams to try being quiet and just listen to what's around them - great collabs all around!

My aunt was a nurse there for 20 years until it closed. While hoping to see or hear something while on our tour we didn't but I felt extremely uncomfortable in the tunnels and the one building (I believe F) just that uneasy, feels like you're being watched, feeling. I found you guys on here when you did Gettysburg and subscribed immediately!!! I had just been there and toured the Jenni Wade house but I felt very relaxed and calm there. My friend and I did a free roaming tour there and just started calling F the ‘scary building’. I had a lumix fz 1000 on a peak designs shoulder strap mount ripped off my shoulder there and tossed about 8 feet. When I picked it up the bottom of the camera was still attached to the mount-it literally ripped the bottom out of the camera. A few hours later we went back to that building alone and standing in the dark taking flash photos and Polaroids my buddy asked ‘are you the one that broke Ryan’s camera?’ And I felt one hard finger press down on that shoulder-I didn’t react for a second because I couldn’t process it and then I said Kevin are you touching me and he instantly turned his light on in fear. Her was like 6 feet away from me and hadn’t moved. Very freaky. I was recording audio on my phone during that time and upon listening you can hear a growling sound that was not audible live.

Since it’s Thanksgiving, I just wanted to tell you Colin that I’m so grateful that you let the hosts/docents of the paranormal locations you visit to fully explain the history of the location and any experiences that they have personally had. I watched a KZbinr today who had someone filming them and their friends as they visited a paranormal location with a host explaining what each room was and what happened there in the past. Meanwhile, the camera operator focused mainly on the people in the party, and one person rudely interrupted the host when he was in the middle of a very interesting story. I was shocked at the disrespect. This is why I watch your videos. You treat everyone with equal respect, no matter who they are, and give them a chance to express themselves. Which in turn makes me feel good about enjoying your videos. I’m grateful and thankful for your channel on KZbin. Keep up the excellent, quality videos. We’re fortunate to have you here.

Dude they ghosts were for SURE telling you that a NURSE was a witch there and she was the dangerous woman in a powerful position that was hurting inmates/patients. There’s no better place to use power against helpless individuals to summon an entity that feeds off fear than a place like that and a nurse would have the access and power the spirits referred to.
