I have the base variant in ranger khakhi. The NA engine is definitely under powered and the seats are not that comfortable for long drives but the ride quality is good and back seat space is amazing. It also gives around 18kmpl on highway if you are easy on the pedal but on heavy traffic the milage dips to 7.

Am planing for Creta Diesel E varient, shall i go for it ?

If you will drive on long routes and need an engine which is smooth. Then I will say yes you can. If you need a vehicle for city then go with petrol not diesel. For the variant I will suggest to go with EX instead of E.
