Crete is the center of western & Minoan civilization. It has its own unique food, crystal clear turquoise beaches. There was a short video by BUSINESS INSIDER featuring a special 80 years old baker making a traditional Greek phyllo pastry with 10M views,with history of the town. It too bad this video didn't show enough of Chania, it's spectacular Venician harbor and special food. I was there during Easter, got to watch Easter parade
