Danke lieber Michael für dieses Meisterwerk. Ich habe es 1987 zu erst gehört. 1988 Belle Epoque wurde zu einer meiner Lieblingsscheiben, bis heute. Auch die von Dir produzierten Scheiben mit Peter Cornelius und natürlich mit Sandra Lauer stehen bei mir. Schön Dich in YT nun auch gefunden zu haben. Die erste LP von Moti Special, "Motivation" (1985, mit "Cold days, hot nights") war für mich wie ein Erweckungserlebnis! Ich spiele sie auch heute noch gern! Die darauf folgende 2. LP klang plötzlich ganz anders und ich war schwer enttäuscht - tatsächlich waren von der Urbesetzung nur noch Schlagzeuger "Dicky" Tarrach und Gitarrist Nils Tuxen übrig geblieben, die jetzt mit neuen Leuten spielten. Wer TATSÄCHLICH den Sound geprägt hatte, zeigte sich dann am weiteren Projekt der früheren "anderen Hälfte" der Band: Michael Cretu mit seinem genialen Soundteppich und Manfred "Tissy" Thiers. Was für ein schöner und begabter Mann, der stimmlich bis in unglaubliche Höhen kam! SO hätten Moti Special weiter klingen können ... Schade, dass es offenbar nur bei einer LP von Cretu & Thiers blieb. Danke für all die tolle Musik, die mir auch jetzt noch viel bedeutet.

Cretu & Thiers war leider nicht erfolgreich, so wurde das Projekt nicht weiter verfolgt... Das Album Belle Epoque höre ich trotzdem gern ab und zu.
