Bayer conversions did this one back in 1997. Took me 4 years of searching to find one of these. I just got it in February

When they did the conversation back in 97 the 98-02 ram doors weren’t made yet so they fabbed the bottoms of the older style doors. I put a door from a 98-02 ext cab on the truck and at the bottom it went over the back door by an inch and at the top of the new door it was also going over the rear crew cab door. So the doors from the older trucks and the 98-02 trucks are completely different

I think just the lift/shocks wheels and tires are worth more than the truck its self lol but still not bad tho it turned out nice

No way a 4dr 2g like that is super hard to come by, that truck is work 35k in Todays market

Cody Medeiros sh******t I wouldn’t take less then 100k for the truck as it sits. But your right there rare. 150 ever made by bayer conversions over the years so I’d guess only half that are still around these days

@@codymedeiros7243 Well before he did all the work to it it was not worth 35k I can tell you that right now. I can buy a midnight edition 2016 ram laramie crew cab diesel tuned with dsp5 switch fully deleted, lifted on 35s with 22s for 43k rn has 100k miles which is not that much for a 6.7 cummins. Has no rust or dents, scratches anywhere on it now why would i want this old truck over that?

Anthony J (Anthonyj810) before I did the little bit of work to it already I turned down 50k before a blink of an eye. I can go buy a million 2016 rams. Again Only 150 of these bayer conversion trucks where built my guess there’s less then half left. The rare factor makes these trucks worth a lot. Daytona truck meet I turned 80k down befor he can finish saying it. Got someone that said they’d give me 100k for it when I finish it and I don’t think I would even take that because I’m sure once its at sema next year I can get over 150k for it

@@tkingcummins Thats cool i guess i just dont see the value in it. I would much rather have a newer truck as the interior and the ride is much better like no comparison between the two interior wise. Probably won't break down as much as a old truck either. If you get 150k for that truck then i hope i have the same luck as you cuz i wanna be rich too lol.
