You're lucky to see works in the daytime, as there's plenty of tracks. The ECML only has two, so they've got to do their work between about 1am until 5am, and I've got 2 lots of track replacements, and points as well being changed coming up in June. Network Rail sent me 2 letters about it. I don't mind, cos I stand looking out my kitchen window and watch the civil engineer trains, the tampers, cranes and so on, but I bet all my neighbours hate it!! :)

They have imposed a 4 day total blockade with a 5 day partial blockade to follow.
