Crewe Works & Sheds - January 1963

This clip from Marsden Rail Vol.36 "North from Crewe" film we see camera's exploring Crewe Works showing the inside and outside action which includes the paintshops and workshops with new diesel locomotives being positioned on display and constructed alongside preserved steam locomotives.
Crewe North and Crewe South engine sheds also feature in the film.

Oh for a time machine, first visit to Crewe works I saw the hst power cars being built . Crewe actually built more Westerns than Swindon.
