Again the Ventura County FD professionals are showing us what team work is all about. Probably assisted by LA County fire too. This is an early start to fire season but lets hope and pray for the success of our firefighters who cope with the wildfires daily.

Thankfully I left California and CalFire. Won't have to deal with the State's poor fire management anymore. Sorry TO. Going to be a horrible season this year since Newsom doesn't like to allow CalFire to do preventive measures. Will miss the OT though.

@@bullyhomestead7232 Thank you, do not have experience in the field? If so they need to hire you on ASAP. A glass or plastic bottle magnify the sun can start an ignition. Not saying it is, but ignition with dry fuel is easy. Could be someone off-roading on a trail that doesn't have their spark arrestor. Also we know how California is with gender reveals. Powerlines so on. Do you know what preventive maintenance is?

Agreed. Tell your governor to allow preventive firefighting to happened. I used to love the overtime, but rather do preventive maintenance . Better do fire breaks and backburns now. . We love the OT, but rather do regular preventive measures now. Saves lives and structures now.

Looks like up north of the 101 at Lindero Canyon. You can see the commuter golf course alongside the freeway in some shots, so go north from there.

That treeless expanse was treated to none of the benefits of being White-People-Adjacent; property owners of that area think managing wild-land encourages dangerous wildlife: well their efforts to mitigate wildlife are fire-friendly-advantages, and their fire-insurance should reflect as such.
