If you haven't already change the gearing up a bit and lower the rear sprocket like 2-3 teeth so it will be easier to lug around and you won't have to be as hard on the throttle at top speeds

I sold the bike last year i started riding alot harder terrain so i went with a ktm 300xcw, i loved the 450r but its not a good enduro bike but i used to love ripping the throttle the power was endless!

@@maximumeffort8829 how do you like the Ktm compared to the Honda for the type of riding you did? I’ve been thinking about getting one myself!

@@WheelieWeasel ah man it is night to day difference i am not a ktm fan boy at all i actually said i would stick to honda/yamaha, but when i first rode one i understood why they are great. Sorry if this is long but let me explain, the body of the bike feels smaller and the frame and suspension feel softer and more loose which is a good thing when dealing with nasty situations. The impacts are alot less harsh so you dont over react when dealing with an obstacle which used to mess me up, and the transmission o my god that is the game changer you have a low 1 and 2 gear which is great for lugging around through the trails and being in a comfortable gear when going uphills or obstacles and the fact that the bike is a 2 stroke it rarely stalls out which lets you always keep momentum. I will be making a comparison videos on my expierience owning and dealing with both bikes soon. I also made a build video on the 300xcw i purchased and what i did to build it tonight, uploading as we speak. If you are thinking about a ktm and your riding primarily hard trails go with a ktm 300xc or xcw or a 250 you wont regret it i promise. Oh and the bike being 15-20 lbs lighter helps too.
