Nice bike man sounds a whole lot better now. Think u were reading in mm used to doing it in inches but it doesn’t make a difference I know the intakes are suppose to be 5-7 thousandths on those bikes. That tappet on the exhaust side is just the auto decompresser I think. Also there’s a trick you can do on the accelerator pump you can wrap a #78 o-ring around the adjuster screw and give it a lot better throttle response there’s vids on KZbin on how to do it

Had the same issue man, I thought it was the valve clearance but my timing chain tensor went bad, changed it and added the JD jetting jet kit and it runs on point now

Love the 450x shouldn't have sold mine. I played hell jetting mine right. Mine was jetted stock and popped on decel bad. Believe I settled on 68/178 jets. They bad bikes, I'll find another soon if prices ever go back to normal lol.
