I accept that the top order didn't perform in the semi-final but irrespective of that fact India just needed 40 runs in 23 balls. Do you think it's logical to lose the match from that situation as far as cricket is concerned? And that too when Dhoni who is considered as the world's best finisher was struggling even to score singles or doubles. You can't blame dk to be the main villain because he played 25 balls at the very beginning of the innings when it was logical to stabilize the innings. This video is more about blaming Dhoni and then protecting yourself by saying I dont hate any players etc. In many knockout matches we lost, our top order never contributed. Dhoni and Jadeja were last reliable batsman where one was playing anchor role and other was aggressor. If we still had couple of batsman then Dhoni would have paced his inning differently. I don't agree with some less run in particular over added pressure on Jadeja. He came to crease when India was 92/6. This was real pressure and not 5 runs in an over. Whole 2nd inning was disastrous except for 100 partnership between these 2.

I accept that the top order didn't perform in the semi-final but irrespective of that fact India just needed 40 runs in 23 balls. Do you think it's logical to lose the match from that situation as far as cricket is concerned? And that too when Dhoni who is considered as the world's best finisher was struggling even to score singles or doubles.
