Welcome to our Criccieth, Black Rock Sands and Porthmadog North Wales Travel Vlog.
In this North Wales travel vlog, we head into Snowdonia, starting at Criccieth, where we visit the famous Criccieth Castle and both town beaches.
We then visit the beautiful beach at Black Rock Sands, take a walk on the beach, go into some caves.
Finally we end up in Porthmadog, visiting the beautiful harbour and checking out the town, before finding a lovely pub to finish the day off with a pint - although in this video, we finish the day with a pnt of Cola as it was filmed while we were doing Dry January.

Welcome to the official Postcard & A Pint KZbin channel.
Postcard & A Pint was thought up by my partner, Rachel & myself, Wills one day while taking our daily 1 hour exercise during the lockdown of 2020. All of a sudden, we were spending more time together, not working 6 or 7 days a week in the arts industry, and binge watching travel programs, and we were actually really enjoying it, and it made us re-evaluate what was important in life for us. Now back to working 6 or 7 days a week again, with very little time off, our happy time is getting out there on our brief times off together and making short travel videos that we are now sharing with you. Loved seeing the beautiful beaches and the castle ruins. We enjoyed hearing the history. Stephen and Yhana's good friend Nancy would know what the white rock is and while we ask "There's always time for ice cream!" Loved you talk about Criccieth. It sounds like a wonderful place to visit! We've always felt Llamas are missing from our life. Really don't miss them though! Porthmadog also looked lovely but the gulls sound like sea lions! It was nice to be out of the blue again!! We think the sound in the caves was just the water. As it was hitting the sand it was creating little bowls in the sand and the sound was the water hitting the ground and then reverberating around the bowl. Loved all the views of the beaches, buildings and castle. The second beach was nice and sandy. It would be great also in the summer for relaxing and maybe exploring a cave or two! The buildings in the little towns have so much character! Thank you both for the tour!

Our favourite places to camp when our kids were younger were just in the sand dunes at Black Rock Sands and at Criccieth and we still love this area now. Two wonderful places of which I have the fondest of memories both as a child with my parents and grandparents and as an adult with my wife and kids. We’ve had to invest in pound coin tokens now as the last 3 times I went to do the weekly shop we’d spent the £1 coins I keep in my car on parking 🤣🤣. We loved that sticker on the lamppost, couldn’t have put it better myself! Oo did you Vlog at black rock? I started my channel in 2018 so I could share the experiences my Australian grandson and I had together when he came to visit me for 2 months. I was a novice at it all. Liked the fun of making videos and kept going when my bestie Annette from New Zealand and I ( using holiday names Gladys and Aneira) visited Wales AND the castle WAS open. The colored houses on the beach front, the roads traveled, especially the adventure to the beach, oh this is so wonderful a video to watch. ( better put together than mine 😂😂) We stayed in Tremadoc for 3 nights roaming the gloaming. Amazing footage- you capture the images incredibly well. Thank you for providing me with a very GOOD FEEL today. 💖 🤩 🇳🇿 🙋‍♀️ 🇳🇱

I have improved though it wasn't all bad editing and filming haha! I am adjusting the titles, text and tags. That may help them be more visual. Who knows. I totally agree with you, some of my favourites from my touring days are Breda and Gouda. We are there for 24hours only!!! We fly in and fly out!! We’re working on the plan today!! I'd be in heaven with both of those beaches... the rocks... the caves... the water.... and did you say DOLPHINS??? SIGN ME UP!!!!! What's the camping situation there like? Is there designated areas or can you just straight up camp on the beach? Loved the town and the harbor. Every single place y'all go looks exactly like a postcard... (see what I did there, Wills???) But really, it's just so beautiful there. Wills would have a lot in common with us in terms of the music! Did I hear Errol Flynn's name??? I love him! We have a huge collection of early 1900's victrola albums. Awesome video and as usual, seeing your faces brightens my day!

Ah thank you. There are dolphins but we didn’t see any this day!! To be honest the tide was so far out it would have been quite a walk to get to the sea. The campsite we parked by had designated areas, you’re probably not supposed to call on the beach, but wild camping is popular here so I’m sure it happens (we’re not the camping types I’m afraid!! ). We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area and when the weather is as it was that day, it’s stunning (sadly most days are raining and windy!!). Wills loves his music, I often don’t like Wills music!! 🤣. Thanks for joining us once again. Have a great week 🍻
