Sreesanth was the most natural and had smoothest action amongst all but couldn't justify his true potential ,rarely bowlers can swing at 145+ he never reached his peak, I cant understand why most Indian fast bowlers were termed as "fast medium" earlier when Sreenath at his peak could bowl 150+ day in day out, Zak was 140+ , RP Singh Nehra were 140+ , Ishant in younger days was 145 , only Bhubaneswar Kumar and Praveen Kumar were fast medium 130+ range but Bhubaneswar had great control. Siraj Shami and Bumrah( one of the best ever in the world ) have taken it to a different level with Pandya being genuine fast bowling allrounder, have high hopes from Arshdeep , Mayank Yadav, Harshit Rana.

Bro , shami debuted in 2013, bumrah 2015 , all the class bowlers debuted around 2012-13. How do you expect them to perform in the sena series?? They need to gain experience. Just blaming the captain is not the only way. Before 2012 ,India was quite good as a test team, every team suffers when they go through a transitional state. Defensive fielding is the best when a batsman is going for a big hit. Even Rohit follows this method to get the wicket of a set batsman . Setting defensive fielding is the only way to get the wicket of a dangerous batsman like abd. Virat was not that smart to follow that, that's why India did not have so many wins against overseas countries despite having top class bowling. Nobody is talking about Virat's batting,He played exceptionally well, which helped India to survive. Actually 2018 Virat was my fav test batsman. But as a captain... he is good but not that good to revolutionize the bowling of a team. And the creator also forgot why kumble was kicked out of the national team. 😂😂

Mayank yadav needs to be nurtured properly, so that he doesn't get injured very much. His body can't handle bowling 156kmph every ball for 4 overs , we saw that in IPL 2024. If he can get the ball to swing under 145 to 150kmph both ways also and learn other variations like , slower ball,yorkers, off cutters, Reverse swing , good length short ball with steep bounce etc then he can be the next devastating bowler after Bumrah. He has the potential, he just needs to be given guidance, training , backing to perform at big stages repeatedly with rests in between.

Siraj needs more guidance...he doesnt have enough variations. Arshdeep slightly better but still early days for him. Gets rattled early. Harshit rana if nurtured properly can become a great bowler. Mayank yadav and umran malik have lot to prove yet. Mere Raw pace wont be effective. And fitness is the key as well. Besides these, natrajan, saini are there if guided properly can become good fast bowlwrs else a wasted talent. Aa of now other than bumrah and shami no one is in the same league. All are under prepared to handle tough situations. For australia tour later this year, india needs atleast two more fully prepared fast bowlers alongwith shami and bumrah. Siraj could be one if gets his form back. Secind one coukd be arshdeep as a left handed fast bowler is always a plus point Harshit Rana could also be prepared as another option.

Mohammed Nissar went to Pakistan and Pakistan never looked back and has been producing world class fast bowlers ever since. Currently their corrupt system and poor man management is hindering the growth of many more. They come up to the highest level but fall out of grace soon due to injuries. Anwar, Inzy , Md Yousuf, Younis Khan etc were effortlessly great, but today's generation failed to be even 20% of their capabilities. If your experienced batsman lacks commonsense and tries to attack Bumrah with crossbat when RR is easily achievable, then there's problem with mindset as well as skillset. Please don't tell me Pakistan doesn't have a fitter WK than Azam Khan. Babar Azam was deemed as next legend when he came into international cricket but has shown zero improvement in his game except those flat pitches in UAE. I think When Nehra ZAHEER AND Irfan and Agarkar came Srinath’s era was over who was a pure fast bowler bowled at 150 and with swing but he was alone they were very skillfull but they didn’t have the ability to take 20 wickets in a test match they had the ability to win one day but not Test matches and in came shreesanth who did magical things with the ball in red ball following his ban Ishant came and after that India started producing fast bowlers who could bowl at 145 consistently Umesh was one of those
