FYI: it's not correct to call the the 1844 game between US and Canada a test. The short form (restricted-overs) formats were invented later, so all cricket at the time was long form (timed or not), but those recognized as tests started in 1877 (backdated when the term came into use somewhat later). The 1844 match was a 2 day game (extended to 3 because of rain). It gave rise to a on-again-off-again series of matches between the US and Canada that continues until the present -- the oldest international sports trophy: the K. A. Auty Cup.

1:31 Half of the group stage, Group A & D are being played in USA. 5:08 My initial predictions for the group stage were: Group A: IND, PAK or IRE Group B: AUS, ENG but possibly NAM or SCO in place of ENG Group C: WI, NZ but possibly AFG Group D: SA, SL Now it seems only my 1st picks are sure to advance. This is good for a global tournament if unpredictable results keep happening. 8:07 I doubt that. I there were always plans to host in new countries. Few years ago West Indies even suggested that every other T20WC should be hosted in an emerging country. Apparently 2030 T20WC too will be co-hosted between ENG, SCO & IRE. Unfortunately the ones before don't have any Associate nations as co-host. 8:46 I'd love to see a new Champion. @@AmeriCricketMedia Certainly will spread the word! Absolutely respect that from a newcomers perspective that it's a "new sport". Both ways of looking at it are accurate. New to someone personally doesn't necessarily mean new to a nation. The same would be true of baseball in the UK. Seemingly new to people now, yet was very popular at the start of the 20th C attracting the same crowds that soccer did for a short while. What's missing in both cases that's vital is the lack of recent generational affection for both sports, and most importantly widespread playing at school and college. This is changing for the better in the US I'm led to believe.

your predictions would have been correct if they have been made 10 years ago. You need to understand cricket has evolved so much in recent years specially t20 cricket. you should avoid using terms such as "no brainer", " for sure" while making any predictions.
