With different cultures and languages mixing languages often changes slightly. That's how sanskrit developed into hindi and hindi into bhojpuri and such that..... When Islam came in india some arabi words get mixed in hindi. When britishers came in english was integrated into english. Americans didnt intentionally decide to make it different, it in itself developed differently.

We most definitely can play in our homes too...we used to play in classrooms in breaks...using a book as a bat and we crumpled paper or foil to form a ball... cricket is pretty popular here in India. So it only makes sense to have been played or heard by all in most unusual sense here😂😂

Reasons to bowl first: When you bat later you know your target score, you have also seen how the pitch is playing, the pitch may be 'greener' (damper) so that ball moves sideways more (see below). Reasons to bat first: When you finish you have the runs on the board, you have also seen how the pitch plays and your bowlers can (maybe) bowl better. There are two styles of bowling. Fast bowlers bowl the ball with its seam nearly vertical and pointing slightly left or right. The aerodynamics means the ball will 'swing' sideways slightly or 'seam' slightly left or right after bouncing. It could then hit the edge of the bat and be caught behind. Changing the pace (speed) can also mean the batsman mistimes his stroke (hitting the ball) and hits the ball into the air to be caught. They might also bowl a bouncer (very short ball) aimed at the batsman so that they have to evade the ball or play at it (it's not going to hit the stumps after all). They have padding on on the front thigh and one side of the chest as well as their 'pads' (and a 'box' over the family jewels) and a helmet. Spinners bowl much more slowly and spin the ball so that it moves sideways after bouncing. They also change their pace to fool the batsman into mistiming their stroke or missing the ball entirely. Batman look to minimise the dangers of playing a stroke. If the ball 'pitches' (bounces) too 'full' (close to the batsman) then it doesn't have time to move sideways so can be hit with the bat vertical without much chance of hitting the bat's edge. If the ball pitches too 'short' (far away from the batsman) the it will be too high to hit the stumps (or wickets) and can be more easily played with the bat horizontal. Against a spinner, the batsman can sometimes move down the pitch to the ball (while the bowler is in the act of bowling it) so that it's like it was bowled too full. The problem then is that he will be out of his crease and the wicketkeeper may be able to hit the stumps before he can get back in. And, of course, the bowlers are trying to get the batsman to think a ball is too full or too short when it really isn't. There is a LOT to cricket when played well.

It does matter who comes first and who goes next. Captain of team needs to choose if they win toss and this choice is made based on weather, opponent team's strength, and many factors coz, as the game goes on, the pitch would change based on weather and it'll affect ball's bouncing and spinning. There's also a factor of team's strength coz some team of 11 players could have good spinners, good fast bowlers, good batsmen, etc and can ve in any combination so all of this would affect the choice of whether to bat or bowl first

Over contains 6 balls it's a circulation of ball. Once the 6 balls delivered then another fielder switch his place as bowler and bowl the 6 balls u have to do 50 times in odi and 20 times in t20 and then one bowler can bowl 10 overs in odi innings and in t20 a bowler can bowl 4 over and more thing is a bowler can't bowl continously once his over is finished he have to wait for another bowler completes his over and then he can bowl. For ex if a bowler bowls 1st over he can't bowl the 2nd over he have to wait until the next bowler completes the 2nd over.

no, the referee can predict whether he is LBW or not but if players are not happy with the decision they can call for the third umpire who is sitting in a room and sees in slow motion and uses other machines to check it

For a fact There is not much importance who wins the toss excluding the factors ground plays. Like a dry pitch favours a slow (spin) bowler and a hard pitch favours batsman and fast bowler. In course of time ie. around second innings this factors decrease which makes it hard for team playing second innings to score. Sometimes it is other way round when second innings is favourable. It all depends on the pitch

There is something called technology that is used in cricket for non obvious LBWs. There is ball tracking that tells the umpires whether the ball was going to hit the wickets. There is also ultraedge or snicko that tell the umpires whether the ball snicked the bat before hitting the pads(legs). Ultraedge is also used in caught behind decisions when the umpire is not sure that the ball snicked the bat.

Unlike baseball, batter is not forced to run every ball they hit. He or his partner can decide run or not run. If ball went to the hand of fielder, it is not safe to run, so he can say loudly or do hand gesture to deny running. In Cricket fielder can stand at more than 20 positions. I think there are 6 positions for 6 fielders in Baseball. Right? In Cricket, foot work is also important. Batsman move right, left, front, back to hit the ball with respect to the direction and bounce of ball. The ball thrown by spinners ( Bowlers who throw at 60mph) spin a lot after it bounces. So batsman advance to hit the ball before it turns a lot. But if he misses, the wicket keeper can stump him.

The only thing complicated about cricket is the LBW law, and even people who play cricket professionally can never explain how it works....but apart from that, it is a simple game, you have a bat, a ball, and an object to aim the ball at, which the batter defends, if the pitcher hits the object, the batter is out, if the batter hits the tennis ball with masking tape out of the ground you get 6 points (or out if you are playing cricket in the backyard at Mum's)

I suggest you to watch highlights of the matches you would understand better as of now u know something about 🏏. And umpires use hawkeye or drs meathod to see if the bowl would hit the stumps or not.
