Dolly & I are doing much better now with fires. They seem to be under control. We did get evacuated once but only for one night & then had to get ready a second time, but our wonderful fire department got it under control fast. They are the best! I only wish the "Cricket Chronicles" cameras had been in Biscuit's school last fall (2022) when Miss Read was out for a couple of days and Old Lady Peterson was the substitute teacher in Biscuit's class. My sources in Ottawa told me that the first day Old Lady Peterson was the substitute teacher, Biscuit quickly talked her down, and before long, so did the rest of the class. By the end of the first day, Biscuit and her classmates forced Old Lady Peterson to sit in a corner wearing a "Dunce" cap. On the second day, Old Lady Peterson's attempt to regain control of the classroom ended within a couple of minutes when Biscuit and her classmates talked her down. Biscuit and her classmates ended up spending the rest of the day binge-watching "The Best Of 'Paw Patrol' ", while Old Lady Peterson was again sitting in the corner wearing the "Dunce" cap. Miss Read then returned, and the pupils were nice to her, and on her first day back, Miss Read wound up teaching three days' worth of material in one day and everyone was well-behaved and grateful to have her back. According to my sources, Old Lady Peterson then went to the Ottawa School Department and submitted her resignation, calling Biscuit and her classmates the worst pupils she ever taught! By the way, I heard that Biscuit barely got promoted into First Grade, and Miss Read requested a transfer to be able to continue to teach Biscuit, which was granted. Despite Biscuit's antics, Miss Read is very fond of her and is delighted to be her teacher again this year.

Ignoring bullies is a necessary life skill!!!😍 We here in the States got some good news, the Governor of California just signed a bill to take 4 harmful chemicals out of our food!!! What happens in California spreads across the country!!! Yes, believe it or not, they actually had to create a bill to protect our food!!! 🙄And, since I'm allergic to additives and preservatives (hives in my mouth) it's been costing a fortune to get healthy food that I can eat!!!😊 We get the Canadian version of a lot of foods, organics and farm stand shopping!! Soon, our food will be as healthy as Canada's and Europe's!!!😊❤❤❤ Now, there's a sentence I never thought I would have to write!!! One would think that healthy food would be a given.....🙄 You just can't make this stuff up!!!😅🤣😂
