Was talented from day one. Was in the same class and house (Arden) at middle school with him. He won pretty much everything on sports day. Turned out to be a pretty decent bloke as well!!!

We should be mindful that the young Bell was a more that just passable 3rd / 4th seamer for Warwickshire. Like so many batsmen-who-can-bowl the bowling tended to fall into disuse as the batting blossomed, but he's always been able to do it.
