@goodgriefyou I just learned how to use it right before I filmed this and I am like you...doubt I ever use it. BUT it will be good if you print out "phrases" liked stamped images and need to cut a pretty design around it. Thanks for watching!!

Awesome series. You speak clearly & very detailed with information. Great video zooming, too. I think it would be great for a future episode to demo using the deep cut blade but not on thick chipboard just with cereal box material. I too have heard that the blade isnt strong enough for the thick chip board. Also, demo using thin arcrylic, shrinky dink plastic & transparency film for stencils. Keep up the good work.

@mysugarplumcottage They do recommend a certain thickness when using the deep cut blade so if you go over what they say then you could chance it breaking off. Thank you Carolanne! I have heard that the Cricut deep cut blade gets totally ruined and chips/brakes off when cutting regular chipboard for mini albums etc. It will cut thinner chipboard such as cereal box type material with a regular blade (or a deep cut) with the multi-cut button on--- but not regular or thick chipboard. Is this true? Thanks for all of your videos. They are a great refresher course for those of us who have the Cricut but have not actively used it. Hugz- Joyce

Thanks first of all for this wonderful series. I was wondering is it o.k. to leave the machine pluged in? I know you were a lil fustrated that your baby boy unpluged it, but I've often wondered if I should unplug it if I'm done for the night. Also, I want to THANK YOU for the center point info. I've often wondered that was for, I'd press it and think that should move to the center of the paper. I didn't move & I just thought I did something wrong.LOL THANKS!!!!! :D

WoW I have had the problem with the glitter paper DCWV too so I stopped using it in cricut. I thought the multi-cut meant cut more than one.like duh! So it cuts it twice NICE! THANKS for these classes caues I am more of a see & do rather that read a do...just computes better in my head. So most of what I have learned on the cricut is just by reading "a little" & punching buttons a lot to see what they do.. SO Thanks for ALL there classes. There was a class in my area $120.00 for six 1 hr classes
