Cricut Design Space for BEGINNERS | How to Find, Upload and Use SVG FILES | Slow & Easy Tutorial

When we released our Cricut Design Space Tutorial for Beginners that taught you how to get your machine out of the box, hook it up and the basics of Design Space, we got a lot of feedback asking for more. Kay and I decided to do a series here on this channel since it is a real time channel. Today we are going to learn how to find SVG files (these are just cut files), upload them to Design Space and use them. Thank you for another info video walking your viewers through the process of finding, viewing, editing, and saving images for use on a Cricut cutting machine. The importance of correctly identifying the material being used, ensuring the “mirror on” setting is correct, and the image has been set to welded in order to have image print as a single picture rather than a puzzle.

Trish you guys are THE BEST teachers💗💗 you explain everything so simply. I struggle with the uploading part, I usually just click things till it uploads lol 😂🤣 I’m bad at computers!! Thank you so much for a wonderful tutorial on svg’s. I currently own a Cricut Joy and I’m in the process of getting a Mug Press and then a Cricut Explorer 3. I have thoroughly enjoyed my Joy because there’s so many things I can do with it. I learned a whole lot from you today and I really like this channel. I don’t know when y’all created it but I joined it today and am watching all of the videos. Thank you for your expertise you know how to explain things and I can understand the instructions. I truly understand where you’re coming from cause I have also been I’ll, had the Flu, stomach bug, and the arthritis in pain hip is giving me a hard way to go so I haven’t even been able to put the tutorial in action especially since my computer and craft room is downstairs but I’ll be waiting here for you when you do your next one cause I can understand what you’re talking about and how to get results

Trish, thank you so much for doing these tutorials for us. I for one will watch everyone you do. I have bought a lot of svg from etsy before I got the cricut, so I think my main problem right now is I only have design space on my phone. Samsung android. My little laptop has all the etsy files but my phone does to. My tablet is android as well, it won't even find my internet 😒 its been awhile since I have used either of them. I like you have already messed one up. it didn't cute all the way through. And on my phone it didn't show everything that I saw on your space, I couldn't get anything to work like the weld button nothing would work. I know I'm all over the place and I'm 😞. I'm going to have to figure out how to get it on my laptop I guess but not sure how. Thank you please continue to do these it helps so much, and you are a wonderful teacher. God bless.

Hi Jo 😊 they don't have a Maker 4. Cricut just released the Maker 3 and the Explore 3 this year.
