Thank you from this beginner! When you unplugged the machine that wasn't working, you unplugged two cords. One is obviously the power cord. What is the second one?

I bought 12 mats (3 in each strength: fabric, light, standard, strong) before I realized I could just re-tack them with Aleene's Tack It Again and Again. plus water!
