In this tutorial, I am going to demonstrate how to use the Cricut Maker to make an alphabet learning mat! I will be using the #41 Cricut Engraving Blade and plastic mat from Dollar Tree for this project.
I would love to know how you would change up the mat to personalize it for your child or the children you will teach.

I wouldn’t change a thing. Perfect. I have a four year old granddaughter who this would be perfect for. She can write letters but not in a straight line so this would surely help her with that problem. Thank you so much for the video.

Thank you so much for this video my son Victor non- verbal autism this is so helpful, amazing , my school district gave up on my son and he just goes straight to the seclusion room till I pick him up, he's so board, so I am teaching and working with him this summer, I so appreciate this project . again Thank You. Yes they are! The magic erasers can be used for anything, lol!

I did my nephew’s name and wrote the names of colors under the shapes too, so he could practice recognizing color words. I also engraved the rougher side so he wrote on the smoother side. I gave him a set of wet-erase markers with a finer tip because they don’t smear as much. You just use a damp cloth to “erase” it when he’s done.
