I notice a lot of people cut rhinestone flock without the backing. I’ve always cut with the backing using the medium card stock setting. My blade is newer. I have very very very minimum issues with this settings. Also, my flock is blue so that could be the difference.

Thanks for watching! The machine stopped midway through the cut. I put it through again. That’s what caused the issue. If not, it would have been fine.
