This was such a great tutorial. Very easy to follow. My cricut doesn't cut as nice as yours. It often cuts off parts of the image. Maybe I need to calibrate it again.

Michelle, when you are ready to upgrade, take a look at the Silhouette Portrait 3. There is no duplicating, coloring, flattening, etc. Just draw the box, choose the color for the border and done! So much quicker and simpler. Just a thought.

Hi Michelle, love your video on how to make boxes on Circuit. I was wondering how to make boxes when you want to bring in designs, images or patterns into the box and or the design, image or pattern as a faded background with the white box on top. Can you drop images into the box and continue from there or do you need to do something special to get the effect. Thanks for your help in advance!

thank you! Yes, after you get your box set up how you want you can rock anything on top of it like text or an image. Just be sure to highlight it all and flat and then after you get everything situated where you want it. I hope this helps, and please let me know if you have any more questions! 😘❤️

I loved this video and tried it today to make boxes to go with some knitting stickers I made. But am having a terrible time with the cuts not being right. How often do you calibrate? I calibrated my Explore 2 three times today and still it didn't cut the boxes where it should have. Any hints? I've wasted so much sticker paper. Sigh...

Hi Dawn! The same thing happened to me, and I called Cricut Customer Service at [phone]. They were able to see what was going on with my machine, and it turned out that I needed a new blade, which they replaced. They have been more than helpful every time I’ve had to call them. Hi, Janet! After you get your boxes how you want them on the canvas, you can click text and add what you want… just be sure to highlight it all and flatten it after you’ve added your text. 😍❤️
