The government is the biggest drug-dealer. They have tricked the general population into thinking that they want drugs out of circulation but they actually want everybody doped up. That's why there is no punishment for drug users and dealers.

@V N yea burden the American taxpayer even more for a crisis that begins with mental health. Addiction cannot be beaten with brute force but with treatment. China once again is at the root of this problem and we do nothing to actually pressure or push the Chinese Communist Party to aid in the halt of fentanyl coming to America through their tankers.

Walgreens has been fined millions of dollars for not giving people the sale price on sale items. they do this intentionally. I’ve caught them doing it even after they were fined. In order to get the five dollars to the customer every time they ring up the wrong price they refuse to give me my five dollars and from then on every time I went to that store they made me pay through the cosmetics line. The minute the guy saw me in line you can make an announcement for them to open up the cosmetics line corset usually meant I got thru the line faster But he was doing it as a punishment to me for insisting on my five dollars. Because I hadn’t actually paid for the stuff yet he said oh it wasn’t rung up I’m like he rang it up on your cash register that’s what ringing up means it doesn’t mean paying for it it means you tried to charge me that amount the wrong amount the higher amount the non-sale amount.

It’s kind of pointless to arrest junkies in SF. I mean, the jail is a block away from the tenderloin so what do you benefit by arresting these people? All they’re going to do is dry out in a jail cell for a few days, be released back into the tenderloin and go get high again. It’s the same cycle. It’s just a waste of tax payers money.

This isn't new, and this has always been an issue in this area for the last 26+ years. That are where the farmers market is, was known as the thieves market because that's where you could buy everything that had been shoplifted. I lived at 555 O'Farrell Street for almost 5 years and Antonio Alley was off the hook. If there would have been KZbin and HD video, I'd have a million dollar channel.

Totally! For decades it's been this way... I lived on O'Farrell and Van Ness in 2003...Drug addicts living outside on the sidewalks with their grocery carts, sleeping bags and teddy bears🧸. The smell of urine everywhere on the streets and in the busses, especially stinky on a hot and muggy days🤮. Interesting that they've decided to do something? Maybe because so many finally decided to move out of the city because of it...

The needle exchange program is actually one of the best moves the city has made. It prevents HIV, hepatitis, etc. from spreading. Lol, theyre not gonna get far being mean! Most of their customers are just normal people who have an addiction. If Becky or Mike or Ebony or DeShawn from the burbs rolls up to a corner in the TL and a dealer walks up, brandishes a weapon and says "wtf you want muthafucka, you want some crack?" Do you think Becky, ect is going to stick around and buy? Of course not. Back when i was an addict, after i got my drugs and paid, 9 times out of 10 the dealer would say a polite "thank you!", and i'd say "thanks", and they'd walk away. Also, and i know this is going to be an unpopular statement, but... they arent devils. "But they sell drugs!" Ok... what about Sarah who works at Bevmo and sells multiple alcoholics their gallons of vodka every few days, even tho its obvious theyre in late stage alcoholism. Alcohol kills way more people than all drugs combined. We dont see Sarah as evil. Im not saying dealing should be allowed. Drug addiction ruins lives. But dealers are actually human beings just like us. No reason for them to be mean to pptential customers.

While I do believe in the stiffest penalties for drug dealers and cartels, there is one thing that really baffles me. Why are all these people using so many drugs? And drug use is increasing. What’s going in with society? What can be done about that, if any thing can?

@@GovernorRiffRaff True, but I live in a town of less than 8,000, and the heroin and meth are out of control, so consequently, there are many break ins of cars and businesses and lives that are lost literally and metaphorically. Something bigger is going on. So many areas of society seem to be decaying. It’s very sad. I hope the next generation of leaders are up to the task. 🙏

@@GovernorRiffRaff Yes, I am a strong supporter of a good, solid, quality education for all Americans that feeds both the mind and the soul. Give a person self esteem, hopes and dreams and equip them to attain their goals. For Gods sake let the U.S. Attorney step in. Each of those drug crimes can be prosecuted in federal court under federal law with much stiffer sentences. Particularly when the D.A. and courts fail to act. The citizens should petition the federal prosecutors to take charge.
