I know. He must have been the most beautiful boy in the world (and there was always - right up until the day he died - an air of boyishness about him). Oh *GOD* , the way he looks right near the end of the video, around about the 4:25-minute mark - his sweet slow smile and his dreamy eyes - *perfect* . And of course, it's his guitar that drives the song. Rowland S. Howard is an inspiration to me in so many ways. If I could play guitar, I'd want to play guitar like him, but as I am only a poet, with only words to play with, I try to write poems that are as good as his lyrics were. Since Rowland himself has left us, I thought that the next best thing to "more Rowland" would be writing about him.
