I see people are commenting on caste system, police behavior, and acting performance. On acting performance:: I think if newcomers are not given a chance then the industry will saturate. If all the roles are taken by experienced actors then when will the newcomers find a room. Bollywood is almost saturated becz of khan's and nepotism( btw i really dont understand how people can like alia bhatt,varun dhawan, tushar kapoor, bachan.. ) Cricket was also saturated becz of sachin, ganguly , kumble, and there was a cry for young players. So lets not force SONY tv to repeat same story here. I know for many of us CP is our favourite program on idiot box but lets focus on what we really like, is it acting or the message/awareness. On Caste system:: People think caste system is discrimination among humans. This view is propagated by those who are being discriminated. Let me give you a perspective from a person who discriminates i.e me. Yes i discriminate people based on their caste. Now before being mad, ask me why i do that. Everyone wants to be with people who can make them feel comfortable, we feel comfortable when people around me have same values like me. Now when i go outside i try to find people who have similar values like me. for ex :; to enjoy my weekend i prefer reading, bt some people drink, so our value system is different. Since searching for people who have same values is a very tough task , so i have to find a way which can narrow down my search area. Our society has devised a way to improve search results. They have attributed few qualities with every caste. Like.. Bania will always put profit over the net happiness, Brahman will always put education over economic cost, rajputs will put valor and glory over the net destruction etc. So by narrowing down my search area i find the right partner easily. Now you may say that it is stereotype. Yes i agree, but i dont claim I have 100% accuracy. But as far as my experience goes , i have 60% accuracy. And i dont have time to personally know people how they are . When my accuracy drops below 50 i will think of another way of categorizing people but till now this system is working just fine for me. The point i wanted to make is Caste system is not discrimination among humans , but a discrimination among values. Some values are low some values are high. It is unfortunate that I was born in a caste which has been associated with low value, so I will develop values and become so great like B.R. Ambedkar that society will have to change that perception. I will not plead for mercy and reservation. On police behavior:: I am not talking about what police did in this episode i am talking in general. Police force is overworked. . A police constable works 16 hours everyday. Think about it 24-16 = 8 hours of family and social time is left for him. If IT working guys who work from 9 am to 9 pm - 12 hours a day in ac room and at the end of the day bitch about it from the core of their heart becz of frustration then think about the frustration level of a constable. Its no wonder police never talks to people in good language. How can they? Have we treated police like humans i.e give them atleast 10-12 hours of social life .. if no.. then how can we expect they will talk to us like humans ? We have created animals in uniform and thats how they also treat us. So before we claim police brutality, lets think what we have done to them. If we really want to change things then lets pay our taxes so that govt can recruit more police personnel and average working hours for police reduces. Yes I agree with you that this practice is largely illogical. But it saves time. Let me give you, a different example.. people advise their daughters to not go through alleys crowded with boys especially at night. Behind this practice is an illogical notion that ALL boys are sexual predators. But in reality not all boys are like that. But still parents do it, because they want to be on safe side. But at the end of the day , it is a fucked up practice. Yet it prevails because it saves lives. Similarly, caste system is unfair , and illogical but it saves time. Time taken by a person to judge others qualities and personality. Now you mentioned that people should be judged on their behaviour and actions. yes i totally agree with you on that, but understanding other person takes hell lot of time and energy. In our hectic daily life , it is very difficult to find time to understand others unless they are very close ones. So the point I want to put forward is that this system, helps in decision making process. Until we find a database which can describe every person' trait and personality , we have to rely on some illogical fucked up practice.

FYI...there is an option of increasing speed...through which we can see the whole episode in lesser time. I generally do *1.5 and a 40 minute episode gets over in 20-25 mins. That's how it makes sense.
