Yes it sucks living in Gaza, but what gets me is most people that say they care for justice completely ignore the fact that palestinian refugees living in syria, lebanon, lybia, or other neighboring Arab countries can't get citizenship, get a job, hold public office, or anything that a non-palestinian arab can do. The palestinian refugees there are dehumanized and mistreated because of where they came from. Heck, I think syria actually executed a bunch of Palestinians living there. Groups like students for justice in palestine don't care about their justice. All they care about is the destruction of Israel, which is not just anti-zionism, it's straight up jew hatred.

In my time working with various organizations there has never been a focus on the Jewish people, but rather focusing on systematic and institutional racism towards the Palestinian people. The atrocities that occur in Gaza by Israel is outrageous, and to say so has absolutely nothing with Jews or anti-Semitism. It is a human rights issue, and we NEED to bring justice to the Palestinian people. In addition, many Jews also recognize the injustices against the Palestinian people and criticize Israel. In fact in Israel, the Jews who protest for Palestinian rights and against the occupation are harshly punished. and I very much appreciate their courage.
