When Ben clicks his medallion @ :11, it’s obvious he’s trying to get Julie to take the hint: that she’s JUST made a BIG MISTAKE, getting on the WRONG BOAT. Then just seconds later, it’s also obvious what Ben is implying-“It’s TOO LATE, sweetheart, the boat is already TOO FAR from the dock!” (also implying, “So don’t even TRY to swim against those currents; otherwise it’ll be the end of you in the BLINK OF AN EYE!”) although it’s also plain that’s precisely what HE wants to do with her.

@MrJamieMurph4141969 Жыл бұрын
So, then Ben should talk; if his advice to Julie isn’t the pot calling the kettle black, I don’t know what is! Perhaps he SHOULD have looked both ways before crossing the street! And yes, he did in fact kill David Egan, even if so as to get revenge on him on behalf of his late daughter Susie. Incidentally, note the name of Ben’s boat: “Sweet Susie,” named for his daughter, obviously. Typical of fishing boats’ names-“Sweet Sharon,” “Thelma Dale,” and “Sweet Sharon II,”(in which case, named for the boat’s wife, girlfriend, or daughter)heck, even classic feminine terms like “Sweet Adeline,” “Wild Irish Rose,” etc, all stemming from the tradition in the Middle Ages of attributing the feminine gender and feminine pronouns to ships (and watercraft in general) because it was the tradition to dedicate a ship to a goddess, under whose protection the ship sailed(hence, the purpose of the figurehead on the ship’s bow), the carved model of the deity. (For that matter, can’t you picture a fishing boat or shrimp boat named “Wild Irish ☘️ Rose” or “My Irish ☘️ Princess” with a shamrock ☘️ on her bow?)

0:27 What about you Mr. Willis? A man like you should also be celebrating the 4th of July by celebrating it with friends and loved ones, reminiscing on what was like being younger and remembering the stupid mistakes/accidents you have done, throwing people off a cliff, getting away with murder? Things like that. Plus, not only do Ray and Julie know who you are, they also know why you were there on the night that they hit you with Barry’s car. Yeah, and Ben? Julie was the one who wanted to try to help you. She was the one who wanted to call 911 and have an ambulance take you to the hospital to see if you could be saved. She was also only a bystander when you were being dumped in the ocean and left for dead, which, by the way, was Barry’s idea. So before committing a murder for revenge, you might try getting the facts about what really happened first.

Would have been equally dangerous-don’t you think there would have been crabs 🦀 or sharks 🦈 in the ocean? Or far worse yet, knowing how Ben really was itching to kill Julie, he probably would have tried to run her over with his boat.
@MrJamieMurph4141969
@MrJamieMurph4141969 Жыл бұрын
So it was like by the time Julie saw it was too late, that the boat was already too far from shore, she was “caught between Scylla and Charybdis.” In case you don’t know, that’s an expression which basically means you have no choice but to choose between two equally unpleasant alternatives, because you can’t avoid one without having to deal with the other. Anyway, it’s plain that Julie really was doomed by now; she was convinced Ray was the bad guy, but NO-what a TERRIBLE mistake she just made, walking herself into a BIG trap! What Ben had been waiting to do with her and her friends for A WHOLE YEAR!

While looking at how close it was , it does look like she could swim to shore easily but it isn't as easy as you expect it to be just based on experience. Mind you I wasn't even that far from shore myself before I got sucked out. It's a scary situation to be in , Although I'm unsure if I'd stay on the boat with a killer so you'd have to think fast ! 😂

Helen obviously won that fight because she didn't have no hook in her hand, she beaten him with her own hands and she was very short.
