Crimewatch Theme Tune

Crimewatch theme song on the BBC that's currently in use as of 2012.
Quite possibly the happiest crime related TV show music ever. It's almost like "WOO! MUGGINGS AND MURDER LET'S PARTY!!!" when they show the mugshots in the end credits because it's that happy considering the severity of what some people have done to get their mugs on the display. Although at the same time it does have a hint of seriousness/espionage themes to it. Also the bassline between a few seconds after the initial drum track sounds like Party Boy's Theme from Jackass. Now you'll never unhear it.

Crimewatch - shows a scene where alarms are going off, four big men in balaclavas are smashing windows and shoving money in big bags, carrying guns and firing warning shots to show they are serious, finishing with a getaway driver speeding off, smashing up a lamppost while nearly mowing down 20 pedestrians. Then the presenter asks "Has this jogged your memory?" Oh yea, I knew I forgot something about last Wednesday's visit to the post office!!!

The original is ‘Rescue Helicopter 1’ by John Cameron, this one sounds like a more 80s disco version 🎉.

Yes, this is a completely bastardised version. The original 80s version was much more sinister. You should do a search and you'll see.
