I remember the Russell murder. It's so tragic and needs more coverage. The poor dog was murdered too, but no one ever mentions the animals. I'm glad Josie survived, recovered and learned to thrive. Also, pretty sure they thought it was Levi Bellfield, who was the perpetrator

There was a case from 1997 about a man who approached kids and asked them to help him find his lost dog, he ended up assulting a child, lots of other kids refused to go with him though or said they weren't allowed to go into the woodland. You could almost use the clip to remind children of why they should be careful around strangers and never go off alone with them, however nice they appear. This case is a reminder though that sometimes there's literally nothing you can do in such a situation.

@@Cece-dad17 I thought so too, but DNA samples found didn't match to him or Stone. Future science may say otherwise. I also remind myself that Bellfield is a psychopathic gobshite.

Yes, the dog was killed but I'm pretty sure it was hit with the hammer too. Also, they believe the killer was serial killer Levi Bellfield who is serving a whole life tariff sentence. Someone else is in prison for this crime though Michael Stone. Bellfield admitted to killing a family near where the Russell's were killed & his mother lived that way too

It was Levi bellfield, yet there is still a guy in prison for it but they won’t let him out because he won’t admit to something he did not do & Levi used a hammer

These are timeless episodes, back when people had to use their brain/memories to remember what they had witnessed, not reliant on technology, the Russell murder was absolutely barbaric, can anyone point me in the direction of an episode from around mid 1998 where a woman was attacked near a hospital cark park in Scotland?
