Durk was one of the first to get the call and go to the hospital the night he passed. LA got ambushed outside the studio. Woulda made it big no doubt but sadly he was a hot target in the streets. “These young guys don’t see tomorrow, they don’t see tomorrow as a possibility” that is the most on point thing I’ve ever heard you say. They are surrounded by the darkest, most callous negativity you could possibly imagine. These people all convinced themselves there was no way out and they leaned into the negativity and evil. It takes real strength to be honest with yourself and admit that you could be a positive force in the world and you don’t need to go down the same path as everyone around you, this is hard to do though, and sadly, a lot of them die before they reach an age where this level of self reflection becomes likely. The human brain doesn’t stop forming until age 25 on average, these people had one foot in the grave and one in a prison cell before they could even consider making it to 25. Tragic, but the only way to combat these outcomes is for people to realize that resorting to gang affiliation and violence is actually the easy way out, the weakling’s path. They need to understand that the correct path, the path of strength, true strength, is making it out by any means and not selling out your morality to do it. Again, this is the hard path, the path of a real man, it’s not sitting around in the trap house wasting time, pushing drugs on your own people, and resorting to deadly violence at every turn, that’s just weakness. If they read what I just said they wouldn’t understand it, to them, strength is the willingness to kill people, go to prison, be heartless, etc. The honest to god truth is this: that behavior just shows your weakness, laziness, and immorality. Just a piece of shit person who offers nothing. Real strength is the people who grind their ass off for years, budgeting, rationing food, and saving every last bit of money so they can get out, there is no excuse for anything else. There is no “product of my environment” that’s just an excuse weaklings tell themselves to get out of the work. And no, selling drugs and gangin in general is not work, it’s easy as hell, a life of instant gratification and laziness. The people who gang just have no long term vision, they want the money and security now and that’s why they trap and shit. I just laugh when I hear people lying to themselves acting like it’s a hard life, it isn’t, it’s the life you chose TO AVOID the hard life.

He snitched. Wrote a statement. Just because they didnt use him in court, doesnt mean he didnt give the popo a statement /snitched. Freedom of Information Act makes the court documents available upon request. The papers have been posted many time and im sure can still be found.
