At 1:57 when Rossi pats Hotch on the shoulder, you can see the hard stoic mask slip...and see how, even though he was trying to keep it together for the team (and Rossi with the story) and the investigation, he lost a mentor too. And I think Rossi subtly acknowledges that, because we've been told over and over how grief is something very private for Hotch. I just love this show and characters.

Black Ninja Yes, he definitely smiles throughout the show. Like you said, in small parts. This may have been the only time he laughed though. The only other times I remember this laugh was the actor himself laughing in gag reels/bloopers.
