I'm a 57 year old man and my gut has served me well.My gut tells me he has his demons and through all that he is honest on his life .He's not glorifying nothing it's all as is .His knife message is commendable and whatever he has done the message is pure .The institution he was brought up in as a kid I can tell you leaves a mark .Yet he still has the will to speak the word .good man

People think Darren is daft cos he goes on mad paranoid rants online but him and his firm back in the day were no joke. Basically took on the older powerful gangsters in the city. Read about their story in a Graham Johnson book, kneecapping, car bombs, murders. There’s a lot of pretenders on these crime podcasts, but Darren ain’t one, he lived that life. That’s not glorifying what him and his gang did. It’s a life full of horrors, but it’s just facts. Great interview 👍🏼

Enjoyed listening to this podcast. Been following darren for years now. Ever since his first podcast. Think I actually cried watching it. Please lord give darren a break 🙏 bring only good people into his life that willr bring peace and get him to were he needs to be in his life. So he can finish that book of his. His life story would make a brilliant 6 part series. Plus a film. Loads still behind you darren. You name all them High up drug dealers with no fear. Your spreading a positive message. He would be good doing a bootcamp and sharing his wisdom with unruly teenagers. Telling them we're life will go if they go down the wrong route. I've thought since he done his first podcast that he was incredibly brave. He was a well known figure all over Liverpool. And for him to share such unpleasant and personal details of his life from growing up and being in the prison system he was incredibly brave. As a lot of men would struggle with being as open and honest as he was. I believe he gained a lot of love and support after his openess. He's stayed out of prison and on a better path. He proving it with his actions. Walking the walk. Keep speaking out as your helping more than you probably realise. Pray your situation is changed. Get the first part of your book out. Rest will follow. Keep being the Better man for those kids of yours.

Good to see Darren explain a few things and talk so well. I had a concern for his mental health some time back after seeing a few videos where he was ‘hitting back’ and which he acknowledges himself here was adversely impacting his mental wellbeing. As you say Darren, ignore these people who wish to bring you down and live your life as you want it. I was delighted to see you look so well and talk so well. Wishing you great future success and I very much hope Terry can help you with your book. Key thing being don’t give anyone else the rights to your book - make sure you retain control of that. That could be crucial to your future success. Stay well and keep doing these positive things to help the younger generation and love to your family. 💙💙

Having been into the darkness through addiction. It never fails to amaze me how many people come out the person they were supposed to be all along. With exception of a mistake last year I'm 4 years clean and I've not been this happy since 17 . Single as well. I can't concentrate on a female I'm working through so much still. Giving the drugs up really is the easy part for some of us. My behaviour was and still is, to a point unacceptable. First thing I changed, I stopped lying totally. My rage is still a issue. Still undiagnosed with god knows what. I'm strong in ways I didn't realise. I used to think I was tough physically (I'm not) I'm strong in heart and mind. Genetically too. Survived so much. RIP Carl Wilkinson my second cousin from the pool who didn't make it.

Followed Darren off and on for several years now. See him going off on his live streams and heard the messages English and Herbert put out about him and came to the wrong conclusion about him. He was beginning to grow on me a month or so back as I tapped into his stuff again. I’m glad I can say I was wrong about him and the sit down you’ve had with him has revealed a very interesting man indeed. Being from that life I know where he’s coming from but also, if somebody with intelligence and connections could sit down with this kid for his knife campaign and book publishing, I really believe that to be fair. The man is trying to make a life and he would be inspirational as fuck to say, the police, schools etc and get him in with early intervention teams or youth work somehow. I for one have now got a lot of respect for him (not that DG will give a f**k but) knowing some of the ins and outs of this lads life. Childhood. Care. Juveys. YP’s. Cons. Adulthood. He seems genuine, of course he has his demons but don’t we all. Let’s get this man propelled somehow, to higher levels so he can find his true purpose. Respect Tel, Respect Darren. One Love.

Darren Gee is one of the most influential people to learn from of previous generations and upcoming generations to come and that's an absolute fact. With the current crime rate going off the scale, and this man going through everything you could possibly think of, I don't understand why people aren't bailing him out within an instant, and helping him, but also helping the youth up and down the U.K but also worldwide - our future. Agree to disagree, but he needs a way out of his current life and it's deeply shocking to why nobody is getting him out, and making him secure mentally. He said it himself in this podcast, he needs the stability to move forward. Put yourself in his shoes, but that's the thing, none of us can, he's been through some of the hardest sh*t in life which the majority would crumble from, and look at the man he is, he's one of the strongest people you could ever come across in all aspects. Darren Gee, a proper genuine soldier who can actually make a difference when given the proper guidance and loyalty - NO BS! Good luck Darren Gee - You're one of a kind and people will regret they never did anything with you if you wasn't here anymore - Fact!

Darren is a real treat to listen too, not because of all the gangster shit he done when he was younger but the fact that he has served his time, come out the other side and wants to be legit while telling his story. Ive been to jail for crimes and 100% deserved it. No doubt about it, mine was only 6 years do half in custody in jail and other half on licence. I took alot of adjustments to adapt to the outside world again am still trying to this day! I respect you 100% Darren as you have done way longer and are out the other end wanting to change like me. Just because sneaky rats and lowlife snakes are still running about doing the same shit and trying to bring you down. Push harder release your books and show them. This also gives me a well needed boost as i am trying to start a company now. Was severely lacking motivation and finding it hard to keep going at. DARREN IF YOU EVER SEE THIS COMMENT! Glad you have a family now, concentrate on yourself, your family and a few close friends. From what I have found out in the straight life is people dont need to hurt you physically to hurt you, they can do it other ways from all new angles. I am learning to navigate and wont give up! Just knownyou have a buyer here if you ever do release that book 💯🤜🤛

His rants and outbursts let him down. Get rid of them and imo he'd make a good community worker. - but when kids are watching his rants he couldn't do that job right now...... One day. Hopefully he'll stop it. When calm he's a good talker.

The system is an absolute disgrace, and the dispensation of unorthodox power that bodies within the system have are that of a resident evil. people are being paid as professionals and they are desensitised parasitical beings... there are seriious failings even being brushed over in this interview and the cry for help is one that must be profound throughout the cases of people that are deemed as not qualified for having humanity being extended unto them unless there is some type of kudos available via a visiting inspection body of funding being touted for.... I'm glad that darren is maturing more and more as the time moves on....well done in this interview Darren... the POA are also a resident evil within the prison service as are most union bodies in the judicial system which are self serving.....we are looking at a beleagured person who has had no skills afforded to him to cope from an institutionalised life since child hood....the truth is the system is manufacturing more criminals than it ever can reform. there are man that cannnot manage the fact that Darren is intelligent and savvy and still developing into a better man....

Darren comes across really genuine. Admits his faults. But the road he went down was already mapped out, he was a victim of the unfortunate circumstances he found himself in, the poor home life and the care system gave him no chance. I hope he does good. And the message he’s delivering is a great cause. Hope he gets his message recognised. 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻 enjoyed this podcast
